I came across this blog called hating Autism, created by John Best (Fore-Sam). He thinks autism is mercury poisoning and nothing else. It is not genetic. Whoever believes that is, by his definition, a nitwit. He tells parents that they can cure their kids simply by chelating them. He even founded Generation Rescue, a professional-looking website full of libel (esp. "25 mercury Myths"), degrading thousands of autistics every day. He hates aspies with a passion, and refuses to admit it. He claims that all he's doing is helping the "trian wrecks" who can't take care of themselves. But then he goes on cyperbullying people with Aspergers, telling them they are stupid and need chelation. he even posted this under Mich's name:

He disagrees on many things, not just autism. I'll never forget this post of his.

You're a wealth of misinformation today. Lack of speech is not the sole marker for autism which is not a disease but, rather, the condition of mercury poisoning.

Hehe my psychology teacher does the same thing. He has all these little anecdotes that he tells every day. Noone points out to him that he's already told us that story so we never have to do any work.

Also, if someone told me not to kill no one I'd probably laugh uncontrollably. For some reason people with bad grammar always make me laugh. They are like nature's clowns.

:) You must be more patient than I am. I always want to scream, "Get on with it!" when I hear repeating stories. Once or twice is ok, three times is acceptable, but four times is just a major pain. We don't work anyway. We...sit there...and look bored...and are bored...and yawn...and nod off...and jerk awake...repeat.

As for the bad grammar...yeah, I would probably laugh usually, but the classroom just kind of sucks out all happiness. (You know rooms like that? They're always so boring too.) Bad grammar either a.) annoys me or b.) (if it's really bad) strikes me as amusing. Double negativies - unless it's on a letter from the principal (she used to send those completely unchecked) - usually make me smile.

Oh yeah, I meet a lot of people who are like that.
One in particular I remember as saying that autism was simply being shy. Excuse?
I have a lot of problems but shyness isn't one of them.
Once I feel myself comfortable enough to talk to someone, I sure ain't shy one bit!

But yeah, who are these people to say this?
There are people like us out there who can speak for themselves, describe what they're going through, and people still don't believe it!
And if it's not genetic, why have there been patterns discovered throughout generations that proves that it is?

Some people make me so mad  there aren't even words to describe it.

I just made a youtube video critiquing GR (even though it recently changed) and exposing Fore-sam's comments. Christschool advised me to edit it because the slides were moving too fast, and i'll get around to it soon, but for now, here it is.

Someone decided it'd be a good idea to tell me I'd had a haircut.

Normal? Yeah. Thing is, before, my hair was halfway down my back - now, it's just past my eyes/reaches my shoulders.

And continued saying/asking if I had for the rest of the day. Probably a pisstake, but still.

Oh, and then there's the whole baby lamb thing... when someone in Biology asked what a baby lamb was called :p

Last year in my Bio II class we were talking about different diets. One that came up was a cabbage soup diet. One girl had absolutely no idea what a cabbage was. I later found out that she works in a grocery store. I don't shop there anymore.

Ha, that reminds me of my little brother. He honestly thought that goats were male sheep. (He just turned 14, by the way, and he said this about two weeks ago, so he has no excuse.)

This John Best guy reminds me a lot of Bill O'Reilly. They both do the same thing: spout hatred of a "group" of people (John Best does this with autism advocates and O'Reilly does this with liberals) and use misinformation to back up his claims. They also have one other thing in common: they both disgust me.

There is this freshman at school who's a total f-ing idiot!
He asks me relentlessly who I have a crush on and I reply that he is not in 6th grade anymore.
I plan on reporting him to my psychologists tommorow.

Every once in a while I go to the city's airport and watch the airplanes land and take-off. In order to start their engines, some airplanes need something called APU that actually pumps air inside de airplane. A man who was watching that said:

"Look at that, airplanes can't fly by themselves. They are just filled with Hellium and the engines only push them forward."

Idiots we meet?
I meet a new one each day, those stupid couples and friends that just crowd up the hallways because they can't pay attention to what's going on.
I mean really, just get out of the hallway! Self-centered fools...
