The other week I poured 7-Up into half a glass of milk because I saw an old "retro" ad for it and was really curious. It wasn't that bad, mostly just tasted like fizzy milk. A little too weird, though. Sometimes I mix real fruit juice into diet ginger ale.

I mixed cranberry juice and ginger ale or sprite a lot when I was in college and had easy access to the different machines. I love carbonated drinks.

The carbonated milk/7-up sounds a little like an ice cream soda that has melted, except maybe a little less sweet because the milk is not sweetened like ice cream would be.

During a trip to Shanghai I tried carbonated orange juice (with pulp!). It was a specialty drink at a local restaurant.

You get machines which can carbonate drinks.
They're about the same size as a blender.
Sodastream were famous for making a bunch of different ones.
They come with refillable gas canisters... they were expensive to buy new, but then you could swap an empty one for a full one for a lot less money.

They're designed to be used with "fizzy drink concentrate" and water, but hypothetically they could be used to carbonate pretty much anything.

I have no idea, the weirdest one this far is "Soda Gembira" (meaning: happy soda) is when you mix strawberry fanta with condensed milk.

Good luck carbonating your drinks!

You could try carbonating pure juice, iced tea or iced coffee. Also, ya don't have to buy a sodastream to fizz a drink; you just poor fizzy water over it. :D have fun carbonating

Kvass is an interesting drink. Its like Russian Rootbeer, only its more beer and less root. (Traditionally, it has a small amount of alcohol. Its carbonated by the fermentation of yeast.)
Also a Mountain Dew Icee. Go to any Racetrack, get a 52 ounce cup, and fill it with Mountain Dew icee. Its very fruity and will help you see into the 7th plane of existence (not really, but with all that caffeine, things happen)

There are no roots in root beer, but root beer has roots, just like you.

Traditional rootbeer, yes. It uses the roots of the sasparilla plant.

Put a serving size amount of flavored liquid coffee creamer in coke, it actually changes the flavor (unlike the intended use which seems to require 10 servings).
Eggnog in root beer.
They will give you a huge buzz because the normally already sweet stuff is carbonated by the coke it's mixed with and may be too flavorful for some.
