If you're in school, (primary, secondary or college) what's your average grade in things? Mines around 85%. And what grade would you be satisfied to have (apart from 100 and 99.99 %)?

As a primary school student, I went to English school, and had 100% average.

Now in secondary, I'm in an immersion school, and my average is about 75%~. In my last exams (scrúdaithe nollaig) I got 4 A's, 2 B's, and the rest were C's. That's considered pretty excellent in my school considering it's my first year in the gaelscoileanna system, and also because I'm in honours

I'm not sure what went wrong.

I use to be fairly high-achieving in primary school - I was the dux of year 7 at my school.

High school however has been a constant slippery slope.

I'm a typical C kid now, and I'm happy with that...but if I ever lose track of where I'm heading, and if I ever slack in my studies, that C could crumble. I'm in the 12th grade now so it's a very unstable time.

Last report card:

English: C (though I really felt I deserved better. At the start of the year there was this assignment I should have gotten a B in, but did not. It was a spoken assignment where you have to get up and talk in front of the class. I actually did very, very good - mine was the best in the entire class, and everyone, including my teacher agreed on this. But for some stupid reason he still had to mark me down. He said he wanted to give me a B-, but the other teachers practically forced him to have to give me a C+ at the most. I'm sure it would have booted my grade to at least a B- overall).
Math: C
Biology: C (not bad considering almost the entire class also got C's. Most people in Bio didn't really care about the class and probably only picked it because they had nothing else to).
Drama: A
Indigenous Studies: A

And yeah.

Currently(college) my average grade at school is about 95% (straight A, one B).

But it wasn't always like that. In elementary, middle and high school my average grade was about 75% (some As, lots of B, a few C, occasional D). The subjects were not specialized like in college so there was always something I was bad at. My biggest drag was the History of Poland. I just couldn't understand, remember and connect all the political events. I also hated WoS ("knowledge about society") and WoK ("knowledge about culture").

What grade I am satisfied to have depends on the subject. If I like the subject(math, IT, foreign language-English) I am not happy with anything less than 90%(A). If I don't really care about a subject(Polish,Biology, Geography, Physics, Chemistry) I am happy with 75%(B). And if I hate the subject(History, WoK, WoS) I just want a 50%(C).

Gaelic is a Celtic language which Irish (and most Scottish) people spoke before the advent of English.

So rigbt now, I'm in the third year of the highest level of secondary education, whivh means I can choose which courses I want to continue with until year six at about this time (my 'profile').
In the Netherlands, we are graded on a scale from 1 through 10, with a 5.5 being a pass. Officially, getting half of the answers right should net you a 5.5, but a lot of teachers use a different formula where you need to have a higher percentage, sometimes up to 80%!

With that out of the way, here are my current grades with disclaimers.
Dutch: 8.1, best in class. This teacher uses the correct formula, thank god.
French: 7. Luckily this is the last year that I have to learn this stupid, over-complicated, unnecessary language (no offense)!
German: 8.1, second only to a girl who immigrated here from... Germany. HAX!
English: 9.1, best in class. No idea how, this teacher doesn't use the correct formula.
Math: 8.8, best in class. The one I'm most proud of, as my classmates typically struggle to get above a 6.
Gymnastics: 5.6. Previous teacher took Asperger's in account, new one doesn't.
History: 8.0. Easy, but boring. Also dropping it next year.
Geography: 7.2. Hard and boring. Can't wait to drop it.
Biology: 7.9, best in class. The only course that I feel bad about dropping, but alas, I can only have one free-choiche course
Arts: 7.2. f**k this course and everything about it.
Economy: 8.8, best in class. Going to be my free-choice course next year.
Physics: 8.9, best in class. Great course, interesting and is going to be the core of my profile next year, along with Math and...
Chemistry: 7.7, best in class. This teacher is a nice person, but not a good teacher and his tests are ridiculous.
