I don't know anyone else with Asperger's full stop. I do know someone at school with classic autism, but I don't ever talk to him.

I don't know if there are any Aspies, but there are a few people with pure Autism in our special education department. I tried to make friends with this one guy who absolutely loves Pink Floyd (he wears Pink Floyd merch head to toe) but he didn't seem to interested in making friends with me, or with anyone for that matter. I guess thats to be expected.

He loves this videogame called "Super Smash Brothers" and I played it with him but he whupped my a**.

Meeting an aspie would be fantastic, but since no one at my school knows I'm an Aspie, maybe there are a couple who keep it a secret as well?

There are supposed to be quite a few Aspies at my school - from various counselors, etc... I have heard mentions of at least 3 other Aspies...

Of course, no knowing who they are, or if I know them, because that stuff's kept confidential. For a good reason, I add.

I think one of the kids on my bus is an Aspie. Or he has some other sort of social skills problem. I've noticed that he rarely makes eye contact, he has a rather limited range of body language and vocal inflection, so on...

Of course, no saying. He could just be introverted - I don't know.

I've been talking with him for a few weeks now and am getting to know him quite well. He's beginning to remind me of a hybrid of various other Aspies I've met at camps and social skills groups, but without all the hyperactivity and specialized obsessions thayt are always present at those camps and groups.

Unfortunately, no.

But they have to be out there. I have good friends but I can't find another individual that acts somewhat like I do. It's a bit lonely, actually, but I'm happy to be a part of this forum to offset that a bit.

Being with other aspies in real life isn't as pleasant an experience as it sounds.
I know from experience, so just trust me on this one.

One of my friends does. Luckily, he has friends in school and I'll be going to school with him next year but he got thrown into a dumpster last year and he gets bullied a lot. He's so sweet though, and very musically talented.

If I do know anyone with AS, I don't know they have it. There are some people who I think might have AS, though.

Not too long ago, my AP teacher asked me for sites/books that I thought accurately described/supported Aspergers because a junior and his parents were asking about it, and they were pretty positive that their son had it. (So, of course, I referred them to here.)

I don't know for sure who asked - she didn't tell me, and I didn't ask - but I'm pretty sure I know who it is, both from reputation and the few times I've seen him. Just the same, I don't really want to ask.

There's a few kids at my school, but as far as I know they just have learning disabilities, not AS. I would befriend them, but they don't seem like the kids I would want to be around. (Not all people with learning disabilities, just these ones, because they beat up a lot of kids (including me) and refer to candy as "dope" and several other reasons I just kind of want to steer clear).

There is one individual whom I suspect to have Asperger's, but he had no idea what it was... Either way, he's incredibly quiet, and I've never heard him speak unless obligated to do so by another person. He doesn't keep eye contact, has a monotonous voice (when he does speak), walks a bit differently than most people, and wears the same outfit quite a bit.

I know about 3 or 4 people with Asperger's Syndrome at school and one person with Autism.
