Erm, I didn't know I had asperger's. And since my diagnosis I've been noticing how different I am. I'd love to know more about the life's of other people dealing with asperger's. My main activities include playing the xbox, sims or generally something technology wise. I live in Sheffield, England. I'm 16 and really want to know how other people deal with conversations. Like I haven't got the hang of it. And keeping friends, that I struggle in. I make the friends, but then they overload my senses to much. Resulting in me being ignorant with them.

I'm 17 from Derby, England and I didn't really know I had it until last year, sort of made sense I guess. My life mainly revolves around cars since I'm sort of obsessed with them but lately ive been focused on trying to find a job (to no avail) so now I'm considering the idea of starting my own business and working for myself. I really enjoy working on cars and whenever I do it feels like a release. I'm not great in social situations so I don't really have many freinds. The ones I do have I've met via my interest in cars and with them the conversation just seems to flow naturally, we can easily talk for hours on end about cars. As for people I've never met or don't know that well I'm not really sure what I'm meant to say to them, after the initial greeting the conversation just seems to die out and I'm not really sure about what I'm meant to do/say to keep it going. I'm not the sort of guy that feels the need to be constantly surrounded by crowds of people anyway, I'm happy being alone most of the time.
