It's bad enough us old farts not having friends, it's so long ago that I can't really remember that being mixed with teen angst, but it makes sense that you need friends even more.
Welcome to Wrong Planet and I hope you find it helpful.

I don't believe this site really has much of a <18 userbase, so it might not be a very good place to find peers.

If you don't mind interacting with mostly people older than you, I'm sure you'll find some people you get along with if you participate.

Regardless, best of luck with finding friends. It can be hard and it often becomes harder the older one gets.

Welcome to Wrongplanet!

I am the father of a 14 year old. He doesn’t use this forum. He likes the Wild Kratts on PBS kids. They have some episodes about snakes. I am sure many of us will try to be friendly.

To make friends, focus on finding like-minded people through local clubs, school activities, or online communities centered around shared interests like snakes, art, or writing. Start with small, one-on-one interactions and practice conversation skills to build confidence and connection. Be patient, seek support from adults, and remember that even one or two close friends can make a big difference.
