Anyone have a special interest that branded you? In junior high and high school I was known as "the bomb kid" because at one point I liked chemistry. People got the wrong idea of me but I was to shy to correct them so my legend grew. I was feared and exalted as some sort of anarchist. It just wouldn't die out until after I graduated. I'm curious to see if anyone else has had or is having the same thing happen to them.

There were a few years, that I was known around my city, as Austin Powers Girl, because I was wearing prescription horn rimmed glasses, to prove my intelligence. Glasses that I didn't even need, believe it, or not - just because the optometrist wanted to make a quick buck.

Hey! I'm a fellow chemistry nerd. *shakes hands* Ironically, I was more known as the kid who wrote strange essay with complicated phrasings a bit like the old writers.

Yes, I have always been into mermaids and fairies and I have on and off obessions with them (at the moment it's off).
I did art in year 11 (10th grade in the US) and I drew nothing but mermaids and fairies and this one boy in the year below me gave me the name "the fairy lady". But he was being friendly with it, it wasn't to poke fun.

My first ever witty comment in secondary school, it's stuck with me thus far and no-one will forget it:

Sir to each individual person of the class: What do you think of school?

Me: I believe that Education is the Foundation of Society!

Every time I talk to someone whom I know, they mention at least once "Hey, 'Education is the Foundation of Society'!"... It's got slightly annoying after a while, but I'm proud of myself for having said that!

its kinda stupid but im known as the kid who smoked weed in the br... for sum reason in the school im in its a big deal... like my cousin's school peeps do it all the time... i guess white america banned enjoying urself in school... im also called roidhead cause i was on createne for a bit but they are two complete different things (roids vs. createne.... huge diff... first of createne is available at gnc and its legal).

There is a reason cannabis is illegal in pretty much the entire world...

Have you never heard that Drugs ruin your life? That, just because your cousin/friends do it, doesn't mean you should too? Heck, here's me hoping the area you live in states that cannabis is legalized because, if it's not, you're looking at a heck of alot of Jail Time if you're caught...

I had (and still somewhat have) a serial killer obsession. I actually got sent to the guidance counselor's office when I took out "Helter Skelter" because they thought I was using it as a how-to lol. People do sometimes look at me as though I'm going to whip out a knife. It amuses me as I can barely defend myself when some kid at school hits me.

I don't have any particularly strange obsessions, but I'm known as the person you go to when smoke comes out the back of your computer.

a lot of times in class the teacher will ask something and call for me to answer, and ill answer the question correctly, plus throw in a random fact that i know thats closely related to the subject, and it doesnt matter what class it is. But because of this people know me as the kid that knows too much. and everyone knows me as stoner, but thats another story. lol oh and jaymannj, don't smoke at school. i cant say much about smoking weed, because I do too, and see nothing wrong with it, but please dont smoke at school. I smoked at school 3 different times, as well as sold at school, and now im in an alternative school. dont be stupid.

Hmm, Not very difficult for me, The kid who knows what 'antidisestablishmentarianism' means, and can spell it backwards XD, the kid who 'worships' harry potter *scoff* {Everyone 'knows' that i worship Severus Snape ^-^}, science geek, 'Mrs Einstein' weird because he had a wife XD, not that i would want to marry him... umm, awkward =) (just kidding), uh, the girl with the 'mmm, π!' t-shirt, oh and one more thing, it's widely known that i have an unnatural obsession with Japanese culture, including, Anime, Manga and Cosplay, oh and pocky :3, ah the days of being caught at 3.00am reading Love Mode and having to explain 'Yaoi' and 'Yuri' to your parents LOL (im not giving permission to 14 year old fangirl's to read yaoi, but if you want to, don't get caught! =D)

When I lived in the United States everyone called me the "Asian Nerd" or "Studyaholic:

one person knew me as "techno-girl" in my sophomore year, but there was a story attached to that one.

i suppose i'm "the kid who plays pokemon on her DS constantly" or "the kid who uses a laptop in class"

"The smart kid" or "the kid who never talks." I wasn't even some crazy smart kid (I did well, but I'm not a genius), so I don't really know how I got that label but I won't argue with it

The guy who asks all the questions I love that reputation, mainly because it's so so true. If I want to know something I'll ask and the question is usually very complicated

A guy in my band couldn't remember my name for the first few months so he just called me "Drummer Dude."
