I'm currently in college studying for my A levels and exam season starts at college tomorrow. I have to take 6 exams which is really irritating as the average number of exams everyone I ask seems to be taking is 3. I have 3 exams this week: Sociology, Maths and Psychology. Next week I have a 2nd Maths exam and English Literature and the week after that I have Key Skills. It's so stressful it's ridiculous.

I only have three exams; chemistry on Thursday, biology and maths next Tuesday. Most people I've spoken to are taking an average of 1!

Well I've got mock exams soon. January/February I have 3 mock GCSE exams. One is English Literature (ouch!), French Speaking (needs some improvement) and Human Geography (the easiest).

It's interesting how a lot of people with AS are doing AS (quite appropriately!) Sociology and Psychology. Not that I've got anything against it, I just thought that most aspies would pick the more logical subjects. When I do my A-Levels I am going to be doing Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Geography. I think it is a very good set of subjects and they are closely related. Later in life, I'd like to be an environmental scientist or a physicist (or something else in professional science).

What exactly is 'General Studies'?

It's an A-level that doesn't count as an A-level but you have to take it because it counts as an A-level
It's basically stuff like racism and global warming.

Hi,

in case it counts. I have an exam next week. As far as the professor knows, i am a failure. But i know i like the subject and i understand it. The matter is that i made the mistake of taking the subject in the math faculty, i should have gone to an engineering faculty. Things are so conceptual and in the clouds in that faculty. Well, i don´t want to burden you anymore. I have an exam next week

I have one AS level this week and one the following week.

Not the best time at school for me by far! - a slight problem on anyones side can easily lead to a complete *flip* from me.

Sociology and Psychology are social sciences so they are logical, just in a different sense. I am taking those subjects because I am interested in society and the human mind and I want to be a clinical psychologist.

I had a Maths exam and a Psychology exam today. I managed to answer all the questions for both exams though my mind went blank on some occasions.

After next week the hell starts.

Monday is no school, so that's good... But after that...
Tuesday - Western Civilization and English exams (Western Civ is fine, but ugh, English... I couldn't write an essay if my life depended on it, I swear...)
Wednesday - Algebra and Spanish exams (Spanish is gonna be fine, algebra... *shudders*)
Thursday - Band and Chemistry exams (Band we don't do anything except sit around and talk :p But science sucks. I hate my chemistry class most of all. I can't do any of the calculations without extensive guidance from my mother (the teacher is no help...) and she doesn't give us any formulas or help on any test, quiz, etc.)
Friday is no school either. :p

I had an easy level 1 key skills exam on Tuesday, and I had a Maths exam before christmas, but the maths one is really just evidence for the course which I am doing and isn't external like A Level/GCSE, so anything which I missed off or didn't so right can easily be redone later. And we were allowed to take notes in.

Only got 2 AS (like the pun?) mock (at least not the real ones) exams this week. Got Chemistry on Tuesday and Further Mathematics FP1 on Friday.

Ahh at least the real ones are in June...
