Throughout the centuries, there were men who took first steps down new roads armed with nothing but their own vision-Ayn Rand

Perfer et obdura; dolor hic tibi proderit olim
Be patient and tough; one day this pain will be useful to you

Pacificsm is doctrine fostered by a delusional minority and by the media, which holds forth the proposition it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

"Why do tomorrow what you can do today?"

"Envy is ignorance; imitation is suicide."

"If you ain't cheating you ain't trying."

"Faith Proves Nothing."

Just because someone may believe thus-and-such, their belief does not validate or verify whatever it is they believe.

Even when millions of people have the same belief, this does not increase the likelihood that what they believe is real.

Further, the popularity of the people expressing the belief provides no validity to the belief, either.

And claiming dire consequences for non-belief affects no validity at all.

There is beauty in everything.

Hard work is the only real work.

Positivity.

That's pretty much it.

EDWARDS: Why the big secret? People are smart. They can handle it.

KAY: A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow.
