Oh, I was proud...but my dad told me it was nothing to be proud of. Should I be?

If I were diagnosed... not really. :(

I'm embarrassed to be an aspie. Mentally and physically I'm slower than my peers. I also have to work twice as hard to get anything done. My friends who don't know about my diagnosis always wonder why I'm like that, and I have to mske up excuses each time they ask :(

I am not proud, but I'm also not regretting the state I'm in, as it causes me to possess, alongside social difficulties, some kind of mental independence. I view Asperger's as an integral part of my personality, and if I was NT, I would not be what I call 'myself'.

I am! I have always been like this and it ain't likely to change any time soon
Plus it means that I get equal grades with far less effort...

I am not proud. Once in a while I like to "escape from having AS."

Admitting that living with AS kinda sucks isn't going to make it go away...besides, I can't really imagine being someone else. Might as well at least not think about it if I can't bring myself to be proud.

I hate executive dysfunction, and I hate depression, and I hate not being able to get help for either. I don't hate being an aspie.
