I know a few kids with autism, from when I volunteered at a school for kids with autism for a few weeks.

I know nobody who I know has AS, but I suspect a kid in my grade does, or at least has tendencies. He's got a tendency to ask kinda random questions in an odd tone of voice, he doesn't really get along with others so I don't know how well he interacts, he's got three special interests (snakes, coin/card tricks last year, yoyo tricks this year)

I only know family members who have AS, but there are a few people at my school whom I suspect might be on the spectrum somewhere...

This probably belongs in the dating threads, but it definately answers THIS thread's question. I have AS, but i was actually dating a girl who also has AS. However, the relationship came and gone before i ever found out that i also had AS. What are the odds?

But she is the only one i know of who has it, other than myself.

I do. One of my cousins definitely has it, and my uncle and a couple other cousins probably do. I also knew three guys in high school who are Aspies. I'm the only girl Aspie I know of.

2 other people in my class last year did, although I am sure that one has 'outgrown' his. The latter also fits for a friend of mine.

My friend has it, and a friend of my mother's apparently has it too. My brother has a diagnosis, but I don't think he's a typical aspie, which isn't to say he isn't, but I have my doubts.
