I dress classy and I'm always wearing a Fedora and sometimes a trench coat.

Also, I don't know how to feel emotion, so sometimes when I simply look at someone they think that I'm giving them an evil stare

I fidgeted alot during xchool. I was really hyper, just getting up out of my seat at random times because I always needed to move. I'd rock back and forth in my seat; otherwise, I wasn't able to pay attention (and sometimes I couldn't pay attention anyway). I'm a little less hyper now as an adult, but only a little.

Why I used to stand out:
I was socially clueless
I had no interest in dating (or thought I didn't because the guys the popular girls went for were anything but my type)
I had a weird accent
I was taller than average and had an unflattering haircut
I liked math, and got straight As
I was generally considered smart

Now I'm the one who combines all the stereotypical nerd traits:
Socially awkward
Smart (although I've had a decent number of C grades and assignments done the night before)
Likes math and science. Especially physics.
Likes sci-fi. A decent number of people in my grade either like Star Trek themselves, or have parents who do, but many also think I'm weird for thinking a fictional character with pointy ears is attractive.
Likes anime/manga/kpop. Not as much as some of my friends, but I didn't used to be interested in any of it at all.
Fangirls about stuff

And then there's the fact that I'm closeted and bi, and want to date people but don't know guys I like and can't date girls, so I come across as a scarily open-minded straight girl.

I am very shy and im not incredibly social. I just don't know what to talk about with a lot of the other classmates as I don't have a lot of the same interests as they have, and also because I'm somewhat scared to talk to others because I'm worried about what they will think of me.

I am a guy with long hair that passes the shoulders.

Unlike a lot of the people at my school, I listen to a lot of metal and rock music and I hate the pop and rap music that everyone is into.

I don't like to smile all the time.

I don't like to use Facebook a lot.

I sometimes do so in purpose, like randomly telling a story of how blah blah blah overthrew blah blah blah. LOL
Anyway, my friends recognize me for that, so I will stick with it.

My speech. It's fast and long and stuttery and not very 16 year old girl. And I'm horrible in any situation with people I don't know or don't like. I have a lot of tics that I know get noticed, but the only people who ask about them are other aspies. I'm also really smart, and of course, if you're smart, you're weird. I have a tendency, if people ask if I'm okay, to spend the next half hour trying to vocalize how I feel. Definitely not a strong point. Most people don't suspect that I have any "disorder", but rather that I'm just strange. And twitchy. I guess I'm pretty high-functioning, and I'm not in any special education classes, so it usually isn't obvious that I'm not just weird.

If you were to ask different people that I know in school, you would probably get varying answers. They would most likely be some of the following:
Social Awkwardness
Failure to show much emotion (I have a monotone voice and flat face)
Tendency to be quiet often
My ineptitude for sports (I am lucky that GYM is graded on preparation and effort)

Undoubtedly, you would get more answers than these; but these are probably the most prominent oddities of mine.

I don't go to school. I'm 17, and I live in the UK, so I attend college.

I know what gets me noticed though

1. I am completely locked in my own world, my eyes are darting around all the time and I zone out completely sometimes and stare at random objects
2. I stim alot, flap my hands, tap my fingers on things, hold my arms together as if I'm cold.
3. I have unusual facial expressions and I'm very expressive, my mood shows on my face all the time. I don't even notice this usually.
4. I openly talk about things I am interested in, synthesizers, MLP:FiM, colours, shiny things etc.
5. I am quite anxious and tend to have panic attacks if pressured in a social situation
6. I do very strange things quite randomly (for example, close my eyes and imagine myself falling, then realise that everyone is staring at me and asking me "WTF are you doing?"
7. I always wear a leather jacket, a white shirt, and some blue jeans. My outfit is always the same. (I change my clothes everyday, but I prefer to wear things that look similar)
8. I listen to my music at a very high volume
9. I'm always wearing headphones
10. I sometimes burst into song
11. I bite my lip alot, to the point where it bleeds sometimes
12. Once I walked into college wearing a gas mask, casually saying "hi" to people and acting as if I wasn't wearing it at all, then when people asked me why I was wearing a gas mask I told them that I wasn't and they were crazy.
13. I sometimes make up my own words
14. I trust nobody and I'm hyper paranoid

I don't talk often, and when I do people give me a look like "thats crazy.... no, your crazy!) I am shy unless around my best friend ( who also has Aspergers) I don't work well in groups, I don't exactly "fit in" Some good stuff is, I am awesome at memorizing things like books and plays!

Its probably how shy i come across to most people, but because of this i normally just blend into the crown and dont really get noticed. It's normally the complete opposite when i get to know someone and they think i'm mad :P but then its okay because they're my friends

1. No matter how much I remind myself to consider intonation, when I read out loud, I read in a fast monotone.
2. People seem to greet me frequently and the only reason I know is that one of my siblings tells me that a sibling of her friend greeted me with no response.
3. My special interests intrude into most conversations taking longer than a minute.
4. I walk too quietly for my speed.
5. I am more than a little strict about the rules and would have gotten carpal tunnel syndrome just reporting Profanity/Profanity to a Staff Member
6. I become nervous when having an unexpected conversation and I still manage to blank my face in less than a second.
7. I feel threatened and cornered when forced to maintain eye contact.
8. I have poor left-right coordination.
9. There are rumors of me loving my computer (partly true) and others of my computer being sentient, sapient, self-aware, and conscious.
10. I tend to stim in obvious ways when I pay less attention to maintaining the appearance of a NT [sic].
11. I am very blunt and often stated, "Bluntness is a virtue."
12. I see the practical or financial aspects of decisions.
13. Most of my senses pick up more in non-hyperfocus situations, leading to an aversion of loud music NT's find tolerable.
14. I am often described as talking like someone from the 18th or 19th centuries (due to an exposure to them early in life).
15. Some idiosyncratic metaphors still manage to have themselves said.
16. I am considered to be the local, "Grammar Nazi."
17. It is noticed that I am easily distracted by paradoxes like the one in my signature.
18. I enter the school year two years younger than all students (save for one, but he takes the easier classes).
19. I cannot understand relationships properly (and it is obvious).
20. The teachers generally have to place me in groups because I do not actively seek out groups.
21. I got compared to two TV SHOW characters by multiple people.
22. I am cynical, but in a very naïve way.
23. I utilize accent marks where appropriate even when typing.
24. I am overly axiomatic.
25. I am unaware of peer pressure in some situations and blatantly ignore it when I am aware.
26. My innovations are seen as inventions (head-mounted magnifying glass=small feat to me).
27. Nearly everyone thinks I will take over the world (RIDICULOUS! I cannot even have a smooth conversation with a basic individual.)
28. I treat everyone as though they would be as critical of me as I am to myself (which has hampered asking questions).

My social and physical awkwardness, and lack of eye contact.

I'm homeschooled due to epilepsy but when I physically attended school I never fitted in. I could never hold up a long conversation without either blurting something completely random or talk about one of my interests. I still have this problem but it's gotten somewhat better over the past few years.
