Oh yes. I think Mine would be Roman, WW2 and when I was younger egyptian. Now I'm starting to get into Civil War era and WWI. I think WWI is really cool, because it was like a transitional time, when tanks and other modern warfare was just being introduced.

Ancient History for me, as there is a lot of things that were invented back then, as well as there being a lot of knowledge that has been lost over time. For example stem power was invented thousands of years ago by an Ancient Greek named Heron. So it was only reinvented a few hundred years ago, and went through development.

To me history is just the biggest story of them all, and I love stories.

I love learning about the obscure and forgotten ways that the past has shaped the present.

I love all things history. But mostly, I love Presidents. The Presidents of the United States have been my special interest since I was about eight years old. I don't know if telling everyone Richard Nixon's Social Security Number is allowed, but the point is I know it.

I also think that history is a big story which includes all other possible stories.
I'm not specialized but in the past I was fascinated 18-19 century wars.
Also dictatorships and unimportant unknown countries are interesting for me.

But there is one thing missing in the world history. You can not change the past or use your creativity. So I decided to write my own world history of a own world.

I had never heard of another Aspie who was into history before! Wow.
I have always loved history in particular the history most people don't know about. I really enjoy the whole Victorian eara, I love all the medical history and all the secrets in general! This is how Celia Rees became one of my favourite authors- all her books are historical and all are about seldom told subjects! For one part of my life I wrote a diary as a Victorian girl for a year and a half- every day which I've never kept up since

well i guess i might be one. i am quite obsessed with all parts of history except WW2 with i find to be very worn down and boring, there are though some books about WW2 i like so i don't hate it. i only dislike it as for being the only thing that most people talk about when talking about history. i am especially interested in the history of the Sovjetunion's pre stalinistic era,the history of the enlightenment, the history of socialism in general, political history in general, the history of science and philosophy also ancient and medieval history.
but really have an obsessive interest for all parts of history. I also want to become a researcher/academic/scientist and until about a year ago history was the only subject i could think of becoming truly good at.Now i also have Philosophy,Politics,Economics and Biology as big interests but history seems to always go strong as an interest.

Medieval and Roman military history, I am currently researching a lot about specific Roman legions of the Principate and would do more if it wasn't for those damn exams and their constant need for attention.

I remember when I was eleven and my history teacher, we were doing the Crusades at the time, asked if anyone knew who owned Constantinople at the time. To be honest I doubt he expected anyone to know the answer so I imagine that when the person who had been silent all year slowly raises their hand and replies "the Byzantine Empire" it would have been fairly strange. Or at least that is the impression I got since I was asked afterwards how I knew that, I presume that sort of thing is not of the type eleven year olds should know.

History is my worst subject in school. I'm way more of a science person.
