Progressive, math, jazz and avant-garde metal are the best. Dream Theater and Queensryche are propably the most known bands I like.
I also like some rather extreme (yet technical) groups like Psyopus, which is considered to sound like noise even among mathcore enthusiasts.

Hell yea I love metal as much as the blood running through my veins :3
If I don't listen to it every 3rd day atleast I begin to be alot aggressive >.>

I have since added Disturbed, Blind Guardian, System of a Down, and Breaking Benjamin to my list of metal bands I'm a fan of, though most of those are alternative metal.

System of a Down and Disturbed were my introductions to metal. However, my favorite metal bands are more of the Euro Metal variety.
