Cannabis, codeine, DXM, tobacco, alcohol. I was offered ecstasy once, but that didn't end up happening, and I tried to look for magic mushrooms once, but I couldn't find any.

I have never done either. I view people who do drugs, smoke and drink as essentially filthy. I have a slight (*cough*) obsession with this kind of thing.

Nope, and it disgusts me when I see how many of my peers smoke.

have drank and smoked on and off for about 4 years. Nothing really heavy.

Weed was fun the first few times I did it.

A few years later its not the same thing anymore. I ate a brownie and I had a massive panic attack, It felt like I was exploding inside and my heart felt like a serious contender for the Indy 500. I kept remembering all of these bad experiences, memories I didn't really want to think about and what a failure I am. All these missed opportunities. I felt like a recluse.....everytime I got that high I had to be by myself my mind was running through thoughts and there was this voice inside that was screaming at me making me feel like my life was nightmare. My self-image kept changing until it felt like who the f**k am I? What am I doing? Where am I going? It really felt scary beyond anything...........

Even after those experiences, I still did it for a few months and every time I had just as similar experience until I had to say no more. I just can't do it.

It really felt like hell........and I couldn't tell if the memories I was having were as they really were or if my mind was distorting them......

I know that most of this is my own personal problems.......but weed does seem to bring out the worst in me

I'm 14 right now. Never tried either, never will. No risk, no wasted cash, no nothing.

Plus, I'm a living contradiction! :D How many Irish Prohibitionists do you see running around?

I used to smoke pot every Friday for 2 years. Did not really do much to me, though i am now less concerned with fitting in and don't worry about deadlines

Everybody in my school drinks alcohol, drugs are pretty common too. Just yesterday is saw a 5th year rolling a joint on the way to class XD. Anyway, in 2nd year i got in with the so called 'bad crowd' and i was offered cigarettes nearly every day but i said no cause smoking has a kind of bad rep at our school and teachers look down on you if you do smoke so i was trying to avoid that. I did smoke salvia and weed with them and it was great :D got drunk a few times. During that year i started to go off the rails a little (as you already will have guessed 8D) and i started to abuse prescription medication. List of drugs i have taken = codeine, weed, salvia, alcohol, inhalants (sharpie, glue), DXM, diphenhydramine (benadryl) and i wouldn't exactly call this a drug but i took excessive amounts of caffeinated drinks/caffeine pills. By the end of the year i found some new friends and i've stopped taking drugs/alcohol except my prescription meds. I didn't take drugs to be social but to escape reality and be somewhere else for a while, i would actually say that while taking drugs i was less social and more introverted. In the future i hope to kind of repeat that year if i have access to more drugs.
