(especially considering that the kids probably had to light it themselves)
Yeah, and that little girl was a brat, too! One time she punched me in the mouth and I got a black lip from it. Anyway, her mom came storming down to our house (barefoot, I must add) because apparently her son told her that I had punched her daughter, when it was actually the other way around! Let's just say I learneda some new (colorful) words from her that day. Ugh, what trash. At least now we're in a nice upper class area so we no longer don't have to experience any of that.

That "Just say no" period doesn't tend to last forever, unfortunately. You never know...I know adults who still pressure others to smoke pot or drink - "oh come on, just one more" or "you don't have to work tomorrow"
