My status isn't critical,I mean, I don't get angry in an explosive and impulsive way and start yelling to people. I take Prozac only to calm myself down and reduce my anxiety and nervousness, and I gotta say I feel much better and it helps me avoid acting in a "weird" way.
Oh yeah, and it also helps me from getting depressed (that's what it is for)

I used to be on medications for that sort of thing, coincidentally, it make everything worse, I freaked out far more on the medications.

Nowadays, I rarely freak out, if the medications aren't working for you, wean yourself off of them and try more natural ways to relax, I recommend sleeping to relaxation tapes and keeping binders of things you like with you ((weather they be pictures/information on your interests, perhaps a scrap of a fabric you like the feel of, simple things.))

Prosac and Tenex. They're annoying, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
I used to take Zoloft, but it would cause me to have blackouts and tics, so I had to stop.

What's really annoying is when I don't swallow it fast enough and it dissolves in my mouth. It's disgusting!

Antidepressants actually help a bit with my obsessions, but they drive me crazy a lot because my brain doesn't focus on one subject long enough, it races until I get physically dizzy.

I'm on two meds which have to be injected and have tests, but those aren't for my AS.
I take them for other reasons, but if I didn't take them I would definitely freak out.

'Freaking out'? No. Being depressed? Yes. Though when I was depressed, I did have outbursts, they weren't particularly violet--I never hurt anyone (well, except for my brother, but he did start that one), just tore things up or threw things. *Shrugs* Oh, and some other meds that're unrelated to depression.

Then I stop eating.

First I stop sleeping.

Then I stop blinking.

Then I start stimming non-stop.

Then I start looking like this:  But slightly happier than that.

Then I start freaking out on people.

Sometime inbetween stopping and starting stuff, I start getting the urge to off myself and self-injure.

And to think, I got through undergrad unmedicated. Whew.
