Staring at a wall, not often but occasionally
Regulary when I'm concentrating / daydreaming or fantasizing I'm often staring in front of me
Sometimes when there is a wall, but than I'm not staring AT it

I kind of see art in everything. I enjoyed looking the poorly textured walls with the old windows in my chemistry class, also chemistry was boreing, but the different enviroment is interesting.

I can stare at a wall for ages, tho most times if you were to see me doing it. Im more then likely zoned out, in my little world thinking about very random things.

I think the carpet is normally more intristing than a wall in a home, but not at school. But ceilings seem to be the most interesting no matter where I am! But normally I just stare and turn off my mind/imagine I am a superhero. I have weirded out a lot of people doing this so its nice to meet other stare-ers.

I can just atare at anything and my mind foes blank- great way to calm down! Usually when I'm thinking my eyes tend to search out a flat surface (wall, desk, book cover...) though I usually try to stop myself, often for the benefit of the NT's that get weirded out when I just stare.

I don't believe I posted on this, but anyway, I don't actually stare at walls unless there is a painting or some work of art on it. Someone actually mistook me for staring at a wall. I was just tying my shoes and I just happened to be looking at a wall and when they made that comment and said it was werid I went, "Huh?" :?

Yes in fact I still daydream and think about things heavily for most of the day. Sometimes I do catch myself deeply in thought, and I will be staring at a chair/wall/tree or something. I think about things alot and daydream to an insane extent.

When I was a little kid it was especially intense. I could literally get lost in elaborate daydreams for hours, with daydreams that would include elaborate plots and even characters. They almost were more than daydreams because of the fact that there were plots, I could even pick up on that thought for days at a time. It was kind of like being able to play video games in your head or something to that extent.

Alot of times whilst I am sitting in classrooms/airports/offices/public places etc., I will usually try to carry some sort of book or tool with me to prevent myself from staring out into space. Sometimes I wont even be reading the book I will just be trying to think while looking at the book.

Deep thought is kind of my thing...yo

Same here... It'll look like I'm doing my math or reading something else, but I actually don't even see the words on the pages... No one really asks or says something about that... My family is used to it. :-)

I could stare at a wall for ages; both whilst daydreaming and just examining the wall. Its a problem I often suffer from during classes, when I will get distracted and lapse into daydream, often during maths

I could stare at a wall for a good long while, daydreaming or not. But, who needs a wall to stare at when you have a Lava Lamp that stimulates thought. But I guess a Lava Lamp cannot be transported everywhere, so yes, I do stare at wall on occasion.

I do that often.

It alls occurs that when I'm watching TV, I drift off somewhere else.
I block out everything going on around me and a few times I haven't been
able to snap out of it unless someone has touched me. :|
