Luckily I don't have any problems with weight, but I could be considered a little underweight, I suppose. My problem is height. I'm 5' 3", and I always wished I could be about two inches taller.

I think I'm the exact opposite of most of you-- I'm seventeen, 5'5", and weigh 150. I'm perfectly happy with that, though. When I was thirteen I was 4'11" and over 200 pounds, so it's been quite a jump, and most of the weight I have now is muscle from playing hockey and standing at a register or running around cleaning at my job. But I found it extremely difficult to lose all that weight (some of which was from meds), and found that the best approach was to not really even try. Just by doing what felt right, I lost forty pounds in three months about two years ago.

I've also got a severe food intolerance, which doesn't help. Whenever I accidentally eat something with that in it, I end up gaining several pounds, even if only for a couple of days.

As a kid I was tall and skinny for my age. I also lacked any real physical stregth or cordination. It didn't suit me well in junior high school.

Looking back on my doctor records...

November 25, 1980 - 2 feet 6 inches + 25Lbs

March 12, 1981 - 2 feet 10 inches + 30Lbs

April 23, 1982 - 3 feet even + 38Lbs

January 9, 1984 - 3 feet 4 inches + 44Lbs

June 17, 1985 - 3 feet 11 inches + 53Lbs

June 12, 1987 - 4 feet 4 inches + 65Lbs

June 18, 1990 - 4 feet 11 inches + 87Lbs

October 24, 1991 - 5 feet 3 inches + 100Lbs

June 13, 1993 - 5 feet 6 inches + 110Lbs

I, too, was barely 5 feet tall when I was 14. But I must have weighed at least 140. So just a wee bit chubby.

Currently I am soon-to-be 19, 5'8, and 145 ibs.

I'm pretty happy w/ myself. I'm 5'3" and around 135 lbs - but I look a lot smaller, it's mostly muscle from sports (I usually wear about a small/medium in juniors even though some of those size charts say I should wear a large). A few years ago they were really concerned w/ my weight cuz I had gained like 15 lbs in a year, but now I'm fine even if I do weigh 10 lbs more than I'm supposed to.

Of course, there is that pressure on teenage girls - the desire to be skinny from those damn models and celebrities. Sometimes I'll be like crap I'm fat, but then realize that my weight doesn't cause any problems for me, and that i'm in the perfect weight range, and I haven't gained any weight in like 2 years. I've just decided to worry about staying in shape (might be a problem when I'm out of high school - i want to go to art school and I doubt I'd be good enough for an intramural hockey team) and eating healthy. it's hard work, but it's not bad!

The bad thing is, I have really gross skin. I'm trying to make it clear up. I got a gift certificate for a facial from my parents for my birthday (don't worry it's what i wanted) and during xmas vacation i'm gonna use it and my skin will be awesome after that. I just don't want to have to put on cover-up everyday... i wanna focus more on eye makeup cuz that's more fun

so yeah i guess i'm fine. and chris you'll be fine too! i know a lot of guys that were really small even in high school but shot up about a foot by the time they got to junior or senior year. you've got plenty of time! even until you're like 21 you're still growing so dont worry!

I'm a girl who's around 5'1, and around 16 years old. I run a lot, so my muscle makes me weigh more, so I'm about 123 pounds (last time I checked). I don't think it's bad, and I have a little bit of baby fat, but sometimes I do think that dropping a couple pounds would be cool, even though I'm fine but I guess I'm just being paranoid about all that stuff. It's actually healthy for a woman athlete to have between 10-25% body fat, since we do have an extra layer of fat for producing children.

Kind regards,

I'm concious of the fact that I put on weight when i started college, funny coming from someone who used to be called 'beanpole'.

So i cut out the pub lunches and actually semi-respect myself now...

As my friend told me in re to skinny girls: The only way to get any sexual pleasure from her is to use her as a condom and f**k an actual woman. 'This is Ally. She's ribbed for your pleasure. Yep, those are her real ribs.'....

Kind regards,
Chris
