I don't see the point of stopping playing games completely. They're a good thing to have for someone with AS who has alone leisure time. Then again I'm going to college for video game designe so I might not be the best person to ask on that one.

-put parental software to block gamesites (make parents set passes)
or
-cut off internet and ban all access to computer

Smash your console and tv then replace it with a new addictive hobby...

Or simply get bored with gaming and move on..

All extreme ideas but good luck!

I got addicted to WoW one time.
Wanna know how I quit?
My brother bet I couldn't quit, and I got off. Have not been on it since.
It happened about a year ago.

Just quit.
Simple as that.

Why quit, you ask? Well, video games can be good in moderation but obviously AS people cannot play in moderation so it's better to quit and do something that occupies the brain more. My suggestion for you is to spend one entire day playing as many of your video games as you can and then the next day, ask your parents to put them away or something. Or if you can't, just stay away for a week or so. When you come back, you'll be less inclined to play them. Worked for me!

Play the newest Sonic game. That will be enough to put you off video games for your lifetime. :)
