Smoking leaves a bad breath in us and digs out all our money. Why should I smoke? I don't.

I started smoking shortly before my 13th birthday because I wanted to know what it was like. Cigarettes soon became my psychological crutch. Even though I smoked myself, I hated it and wanted to give up, but I kept procrastinating. I gave up smoking last October and I feel so much better for it.

Cigarettes are disgusting cancer sticks of Hell. In my opinion, smoking is no different to playing Russian Roulette.

I don't really understand how people do something which is so expensive and which damages your body and skin so much. I did try it, and I smoked like 10, but it was just smoke, I didn't get it.

Did you get it in your lungs and not just pull it in your mouth and blow it out? You should've got a head rush...

Anyways, I smoke weed but not cigarettes. I don't get why cigarettes are so appealing. You can gt high off weed, but all cigarettes give you is a little buzz for a couple of mins.

Why bother to trouble ourselves by smoking? Try binge eating instead. :P

I do it to calm myself down. Sometimes I'm glad I sicken people with it.

markaudette- I brush my teeth twice a day. My breath smells good.

I do sometimes and it's is really because i have canker sores in my mouth, they go away when i do it but it's rare to see me doing it!

I've neer smoked a Cigarette, nor do I intend to. I don't think it's a good habit, then again, you are free to do what you want with your own body.

Never have lit up, never will light up. I hate the smell of cigarette smoke and it triggers coughing fits.

it's funny, all you people saying that it smells horrible, and you couldn;t even imagine how bad the taste is.

lemme put this in a different perspective, how many people are there in the world that absolutely love the smell of coffee, but cannot stand the taste? I'm one of them, it is an acquired taste for most people. honestly I can't remember what I thought my first cigarette tasted like, but I probably didn't like it, that was 5 years ago. Now I absolutely love the taste, and have a massive addiction problem with it and smoke minimum a pack a day. yes it sucks monetarily (I get them for $5.25) but it helps me calm down...

I don't smoke, but I'm fine with others smoking as long as its in private (secondary smoking, and such). However, I don't think people should buy into all the people saying you shouldn't smoke. Don't take their word for it; try it and make your own decision on whether you like it. (Though of course they're right about the negative effect on health)

After seeing my Granddad die a very slow death from lung disease due to smoking heavily for forty five years, I will never smoke.
