No. I'm too young. I'm really worried that AS symptoms will keep me from being able to drive.

Want to learn how, and I'm eligible; I just haven't gotten around to taking the test.

How is that even possible?

It's not, but in the eyes of some instructors it may be in their mind. You might not want to tell your instructor unless absolutely necessary.

Off topic: jmnixon95, who is that in your avatar? He looks familiar.

Michio Kaku, the great theoretical physicist. He's been everywhere nowadays, especially with the nuclear problems in Japan. In fact, I just roused from a nap to the sound of his voice on the television. He's great.

I was scared of driving. Growing up in Boston, I just took the red drive; everyone thought I was silly for simply not getting it anyways. Didn't end up getting it till I moved to Michigan and a car was imminent; I was 22 years old.

I said that my disability kept me, and that is partially true.
I haven't taken the test because my mom said that my disability hinders me.
But, on the other hand, I may never want to learn to drive (I ride my bike to school, and soon college) everyday.
So, why do I need it.....?
As long as it gives me some health benefit, it's good.(I mean, I don't want to be a fatso riding a bicycle, haha, I've seen it and it is NOT pretty...no offense, I just have a REAL issue with Myself becoming fat, it feels weird.)

Anyways, I've rambled enough on this post, and I think there should be an other category.

No, and I never want to learn how. I'm 16, the minimum age for getting your learners license here. I'm not interested in it at all. I don't know if you can get ID without a driver's license here so I might just use my passport.

I selected "Not Yet: I'm not old enough"

Kind of complicated in my state. You need to pass a permit test, and can take it when you are 16 (I took it and got like 1 or 2 wrong out of 25 questions). Then you have to maintain a clean record with your permit for 6 months, before you can take the road test for your license (you need someone 21 or older sitting in the passenger seat in order to drive with a permit). Right now, I have finished the classroom portion of driving school, and I have road lessons scheduled for next month. I doubt that AS will affect my ability to drive, but whether i can drive or not will be dictated by whether or not i can get a job. :/

I'm currently eligible to take drivers ed and get a learners permit, but my parents are making me wait until school get's out to take it.

I'm supposed to be learning this summer because for years my mother hasn't trusted me with driving.
