God I sucked @ PE. Fortunately I only had to take for the first two years of high school. Then I was done. I will admit however that it did leave me in better physical shape than I am in currently. I best be getting to the gym more often to work out.

But really, PE was horrible. We always had to play team sports (which I hate) or have partners. I would always be the kid standing around while everyone else chose partners, and I'd be like "uhhh..." and wouldn't have a partner. Plus I am clumbsy and such, so it just made it worse. And it made everyone even less willing to be my partner...

I had 2 friends in this class also but they would always chose each other, never me. Bah.

I'm sorry about that.

First year at high school I hated PE because some of the the classmates were mean. They called me names and stuff. Then I changed schools because we moved towns then I have gotten to really enjoy PE. There was only one nuisance NT and I was really encouraged by my PE teacher and the close friends in my class. I still have my moments , one lesson I did my ankle and I tried not to cry, but I really can't wait to start my Sports Science course at school. It's a more theory based course but all students in my year level do an hour of recreation a week which is not so bad as having to do it 3 times a week.

Not a big fan of PE, but I find it more tolerable than I did in elementary school. And I only have to do it until June.

As long as the coach is decent, and you don't behave like an insolent child, and stand in the corner with your arms crossed with pouty look on your face, you should be okay. :P

I usually loved it, as long as I could throw stuff at other people.

I hated it. Still do hate it, but it's no longer compulsory.

Managed to get out of (most of) it in the last semester of school. For some reason, I got along well with my PE teacher before this, meaning that the class was a little less nightmarish.

I've almost always hated gym, I like when we do badmitten and dodgeball but I hate basketball, soccer and any other team sport. I used to always get confused because I didn't know which goal I was supposed to get the ball in and people used to get mad whenever I got it in the wrong goal. I also can't run right I feel like I look weird and I feel people make fun of me for the way I look. When partner up there are a few girls in my class that I've talked to but I can't tell if they consider me their friend or not so I just hope they'll ask me to be their partener but they never do and the teacher always puts me with someone who makes me feel very awkward. I'd just not do gym but if you don't participate you fail and if you don't pass gym at my school you can't graduate.

^^ I was always the one left without a partner too :(
I really liked the year when Nicole (one of my best friends) and I got to go in the fitness suite every PE lesson instead.

I hated it hated it hated it. I'm clumsy and I hate being under pressure. I have bad hand-eye coordination and stamina. It is thought that I may have hypermobility; in any case, my knees used to dislocate all the time with little or no outside input (had to miss a lot of PE) and I had to have surgery (missed even more PE). I'm not competitive and don't have a sense of team pride. I don't really like excercising. I hate having to do something for no good reason, it makes me feel horribly anxious and powerless -- I'm demand avoidant.
People in the lessons would laugh at me for being bad at stuff or shout at me in team games for ruining something or other...
The teachers just used to call me lazy when I couldn't do PE because of my knees. The kids didn't say it but they thought it!
SO glad that part of my life is over!!
Though I sometimes wonder if I would like PE/sport/excercise if it hadn't been for my knees...

PE is the root of all evil. I'm very happy to be rid of it.

At my school, PE was only compulsory until the end of year 9, which I finished this time last year (thank you, God I don't believe in!) I hated PE so much, and I hate authorities enforcing it even more in Australia because they think it's the ultimate cure for child obesity (which I think it isn't, It just makes fat kids bullied and depressed, not feeling like doing anyhting about their weight). I hate my school because it cares so much about sport and only has a crap tiny music program so it can be listed as an extra curricular activity on ads for the school (It's an expensive catholic school too).

There's my rant :)

I had to do it in grade 9 and I got bullied quite a few times, but I still managed to pull off an 80% in the course. :D

I also really hate them! I don't mind exercise, but I don't like sports! (Which is what most PE is). I would prefer it if their was an option called "non-competitive PE", where you learned about non-competitive forms of exercise such as walking. I hate competition.

I always hated gym in high school. Between my complete lack of depth perception and my general athletic inability, I was a complete failure. The only sport I could do decently was basketball because I'm taller than most of the girls in my class, so I just jumped in front of them.
Fortunately, I got excused from anything that involved lifting weights or that depended on arm strength because I had a bone cyst. I haven't had to do a push-up in six years.

I have to take my PE class online because I wasn't fortunate enough to get in and I need it for college. Not only do they teach me about unrelated stuff like consumerism, but they make me workout for 6 hours per unit. Not only do I get asthma from over-exerting myself, but also, Florida is below-freezing every other day. Cold weather also gives me asthma. It freaking sucks.

I've always hated PE. I'm super-uncoordinated but back when I was younger I used to try really hard anyway. I felt like I did everything wrong and was yelled at by team members...nowadays I literally panic every time we have P.E. I mean I try to do it but in a way I'm just so afraid to. I see everyone around me doing it so effortlessly and having fun and I just wish I could do the same. :(
