Yes, I'm proud of it. First of all, "normal" people mystify me. How is polluting your body with cigarettes and marijuana, having/wanting to have sex with one too many people (instead of just one), and insulting people supposed to be "normal"? What, once you're an adult you're supposed to be stupid? That doesn't make any sense. And apparently that's what passes for "normal" in the college I go to. Fortunately I don't know too many Aspies who are like that. Second of all, we don't have to serve in the army if we don't want to. I hate war, in any way, shape, or form, and that includes serving in the Armed Forces. "Dying for your country" is just BS, no offense to anyone who believes otherwise, though. If it takes stupidity to truly be a "normal" person then I'd rather not be one.
Actually, come to think of it there's a lot of religious people I know of who are "normal" that don't do any of the stuff I mentioned...but I'm not religious either and I'm ambivalent in my belief in God. Plus I find that some of them (although not all of them) can be hypocritical (if there's any religious people on here please don't take this the wrong way, a lot of my mom's side is religious and I really like them).
The only nonreligious people I know of who still have an air of "innocence" about them are other Aspies. I feel honored to be included in such company because they are one of the few people who make sense in the world.
