LOL i can agree with that...

I live in the north and I see it brutalized every day too. I guess that's just one similarity all over the US. :)

and if 1 more person says Ass Burgers to me I'm gonna kill them. A couple of my "friends" said that all the time when I first told them that I have AS, even after I explained to them that it is asperger's. needless to say we are no longer friends.

Asplode LOLZ...my word of the day :)

I was diagnosed at 19...my mom giggled and said it sounded like "ass burgers" and that it just struck her as funny. My sister did too. They were just kidding.

The age of my diagnosis has kept me away from ppl at school saying that...

Yeah it has happened to me, I wish it was named something else sometimes. If I was Hans I would have named it something different.

He did name it something different: he called it "autistic psychopathy". Lorna Wing called what I have "Asperger's syndrome". The title of this thread is meaningless.

I've had people call me 'Assburgler'. Sadly they didn't do it in real time, only over the net, so I couldn't smack them around the face.

People who say that suffer from the c**t syndrome - Completely Unoriginal NeuroTypical. Just ignore them.

EDIT: Looks like adding two asterisks to that word somehow improved it. Damn auto-censors.

OH MY GOD That's the only reason I don't tell anybody about my condition. I hate it and even though it isn't meant to insult me, it does. It REALLY. does

Those bastards changed "re" tards" to "delays".
I prefer to call it A S, 2 letters that don't sound like anything.

In my internet experience, people think of Asperger's and "Ass Burgers" to be two different things. One is a diagnoseable condition, the other is being a jerk and trying to convince people they have some sort of disorder so as to avoid blame. It doesn't work because there's so many real Aspies out there willing to point out the reality, but people still do it.

"Ass Burgers" is also known as "Internet Asperger's".
