Well, those are valid reasons. If you want to, you can. It's very simple. Exercise an hour a day, and eat 5 small meals a day. Don't expect rapid results. A pound a week is what you should aim for.

I've been trying. I walk the dog, and ride the excerise bike but it's really hard! I doubt I'll get a pound a week. I could add jumprop to that list, I suppose. and situps. buy a workout dvd...

How about jogging 2 miles a day, then going on the exercise bike for 30 minutes. You should finish that in 50 to 55 minutes.

Oh, and don't eat after 7pm...ever.

My stomach makes a lot of noise. It's loud and sometimes it sounds like farts. That's annoying.

And I seem to be stuck at 153 pounds... I'd like to get down somewhere into the 140's, but meh, I have wide shoulders so it wouldn't show much anyway.

My pinkies are extremely difficult to clip because they're so curved.

And I'm constantly cracking my fingers. It seems like I can't move them right so long as they go uncracked.

Also my heaviest dumbells are 20 pounds, and it takes so many reps to tire my muscles now that there just isn't time to do it anymore. Yet my arms are still skinny :?

theres only one thing about my body i used to dont like and it was self inflicted
i comfort ate during my teens becuase people bullied me for being 'weird' and a 'freak' and i used every excuse to eat chocolate

i used to be very fat - round my middle i was 70 inches around and weighed in at 280 lbs - 20 stone (5' 7" height) i tried to diet for 3 or 4 years but i kept increasing in weight because i had no willpower and i wasnt bothered about being fat most of the time. only when it came to not being about to fit on fairground rides

this year though i joined a slimming class and i get weighed every week. and for the first time in my life i have felt included. women there have made buddies with me and we chat every week about our weight losses and what we are doing. i find it hard to make friends and be sociable but these people seem to understand me and i am able to chat freely for the first time.

i joined the classes in middle of january this year and now the middle of april and i have lost a total of 47.5 - 3 stone 5.5 lbs bringing me down to a 57 inch round my middle and to a weight of 238.5 - 16 stone 9.5

i used to not be bothered about excersising becuase i found it too hard and i was too lazy i got out of breath easily
this class i go to encourage excersise and there in an excersise session at every class. it is the rosemary conley programme

i got a new job in march working in a little shop. and i cycle a total of 40 minutes each day i work to and from work it used to take an hour a day but after a few weeks ive cut the time becuase ive got fitter and been able to ride my bike up the hills instead of pushing it up

ive also cut out snacking completley cos at this point i used to eat chocolate. i never had it at mealtimes. it was very difficuly for me to stop eating chocolate. i decided to go for an all out ban for 2 weeks and i made it!! and now when i eat chocolate i cannot eat much before i start getting a sickly feeling in the back of my throat. i do allow myself to eat chocolate but only child size bars and i dont take it home with me. i leave it at work where i cant have it other than when im there


all the positive comments im getting are boosting my confidence and me being able to be more active is boosting my confidence.
when i lok upon it now i look back and think i made myself physically handicapped. i wasnt in a wheelchair but i couldent walk far without getting breathless so basiclaly i was physically handicapped on top of my AS.
and AS is too much for me to handle by itself without making myself physically handicapped aswell lol.

ill let you know how i get on with my weight loss if your interested.
its b****y hard but ill get there in the end!!

I've always been tall and thin but since getting ill (I have been for nearly 3 years) I have lost even more weight. Now I am close to 5' 9" and I weigh about 96 lbs, I have to work at it just to stop myself losing anymore.

Yeah, where to start?
I really regret ever shaving areas that didn't need to be when I was a stupid 11 year old when I found my mom's new razor.
The areas are my legs and arms that now need to be shaven often and the other areas I only shaved once which made my hair a bit thick but still a bit transparent are things I don't want to talk about.
Please tell me is there a way to make my legs, arms, and/or once shaven areas thinner? Would bleaching them help?
I have a bit of flab on my waist that just won't go away, I have acne bacause I really don't have any time to care for them, and I have streach marks on my body; I have really concidered not looking for a mate in my life ever because of this and other irrelevant things. :(

i'm about 5'5 and i weight between 9 -11 stone, and i have rally rally bad acne, I don't like the feeling of washing my face at all and only wash it in the shower from time to time, I also have a fear of sinks after one tried to drown me.

i HATE shaving and i try to shave as little as often but it doesent seem to work, i have had to shave since i was about 11. it make me look alot older than i am. which is big problem because i don't understand most of the stuff people my age (me is 16) do in the first place, so when people assume i am 19+ i just get into even more of a muddle.

It's actually a myth that areas once shaven will grow back faster.
