Who here doesn't? That, I wager, would be a far better question.

To answer yours, my major one happens to be dogs, with mythology, language, and currently neurology running close seconds.

o_O I've never had an obsession...

My obsession is lucid dreaming, to me it has the greatest potential of anything I have ever seen in this world, sadly few understand or ever take the time to learn about it, it boggles my mind why it is so rare of a known phenomena. I know lucid dreamers though like myself, except for my interest goes even further in that I believe that I could train myself to hallucinate on command and create these experiences whenever, however even the lucid dreaming community has a very very small portion of people who are interested in that idea, so few that I only know 2-3 people out of my 4 years in the lucid dreaming community genuinely interested.

LucidDreamGod, thanks for introducing me to lucid dreaming! I am gonna try and do this!! !

I have had a few lucid dreams before, but I dont remember them mostly.

There is also something like what you want with the instant thing, as long you are in your REM cycle... Its called "Malac's Fast Grab", search that on Google and click on "Finally, A 10 second lucid induction! Title -*MFG* - Dreamviews ..."

:)

Hey, sorry I didn't see your reply here, yeah I know who malac is, you could call him a friend of mine.

It is really quite the hidden gem of a hobby, I wouldn't recommend going right to the method that I talk about in my post (trying to hallucinate) at least during the day, because it takes a lot of practice, it is just better to try and hallucinate in the morning, I havn't read malacs method very clearly, I think I'll go have a look at it again, sounds like a DEILD type method to me.

Cool! :)

I am gonna try your method because I have good imagination skills (I imagine stuff all the time) therefore I have good visulisation. If it dosent work, pah! I'll move on to the next method!

Like I said in the PM (or was it the post?) I will try Malac's method in the morning, coz I got really close to making it work before.

:)

EDIT: Actually, now I come to think of it, Malac's and your method are very similar!

I have read over Malacs method, it does seem interesting that he said to use your actual hands, in my mind that doesn't seem like it'd work very well, but who knows, I'd give it a try tonight if I could, but I have school in the morning.

Which reminds me I should start working on my visualization.

The idea is you try to move your actual hand but its your dream one actually moves.
