By my IQ, I'd be considered average, but IQ tests don't really measure all of a child's strengths and weaknesses. I'm a bad test taker, so I had a really hard time completing everything. If you read my writing, you would think I'm a college student...but everyone is different. Some of us are smart, others are average, and some have a bit of a hard time.

low IO is meaningless, there are some brilliant people out there with below average IQ's

The direct answer to your question is "no" because it is impossible for 100% of the Aspie population to fit any definition of intelligence no matter how broad the definition might be.

Are we smarter than "NT"s in general or as a whole: Probably not, and I am not going to pretend I know the answer.

However, it is very easy for our abilities or intellect to show because our energies are a lot more concentrated than those who spend a large portion of time socializing and acting upon their emotions.

The very obsessive, consistent, and concentrate nature of Aspergers makes the Aspie more able to take advantage of their intelligence (no matter what the actual amount is).

Even Albert Einstein said: "I do not solve these difficult problems because I am smarter but because I stay with them longer." And he is considered a genius by most.
