i'm not popular and actually there are some people who like to bother me....
almost everybody knows i exist, but just because my school is really small, my clothes really draw people's attention and i am the brightest person in almost every class so people think: "Paola...? Oh yeah, the weird smart Gothic girl, right?"

actually, as i am really happy with my popularity (if you wanna call it that way) because if i was really popular i'd hate it,:

Quote:
If I were to ever get popular, I'd be devestated. The popular people at my school have the IQ of a banana. It's sad.

any ways, people in my school either fear/hate me or really like me (most of them fear/ hate me)

I am not popular at all, not even close to it.
In school, I haven't even one friend.
:(

Popularity is overrated.

I wonder why so many children/teenagers want to be popular.
I don't want to appear, so if I became popular I probably would be very scared. :(

There is no such thing as popularity. At least not to me. If you think about it we are all really the same. And the kids who are considered popular are just mean anyway...

I have some friends but I'm not popular because my friends are all outside of college. I'm not unpopular either, I don't have enemies like I did at school. I don't even fit onto the popularity scale to be honest, I'm seperate from it I'm in my own category.

I used to think of myself as an unpopular kid, and was very unhappy about it. But now, I don't really give a s**t. But I don't like people winding me up about it, like they used to. But I am getting better at socializing, and hopefully I will be fairly popular soon. Well I suppose you could say I'm quite popular now

Back in high school, most people liked me for who I am.

I was less popular than the wasps that regularly invaded the high school building.

Not very. I'm the one people come to if they want technology problems fixed (and I charge for this service), but I'm not a member of anyone's group or anything.

However, I like it like that, so it's not a bad thing at all for me.

Most people were friendly towards to me, didn't have many enemies. Not popular though.

Popular in Kindergarten because they could learn from me mostly.
Same for Grades 1-4
Grade 5 is when I started to be less popular although I didn't know why
Grade 7 is where I really started to be isolated from people and didn't mind either.
Grade 9 (first year of highschool)- Class of 23 kids changed into four different classes of all new kids, social collapse
Grade 10 is pretty much the same, my small ring of friends only talk to me when they need help in programming, science, or math.

I view popularity as optional, as well as friends. I am very un-popular with most shcool kids (no offence, I am Home-ed know far better) but with my friend (he is Dyslexic) I can have a nice, logical discussion with him about string thereoy.

Currently I have one friend, who recently found out he is on the spectrum. apart fro, him I am qiute happy to be a loner.

I was considered to be the lowest lifeform in class (probably even lower than the amoeba in the petri-dish). I was extremely unpopular (although I gained popularity for a day or two by licking a slug for a bet). I never played at recess. I either huddled in a corner somewhere and read my books or walked around the playground obsessively. The only time I got to be the center of attention was when we were in science class and the teacher had an assignment.

I'm popular. I usually know or say hi to a verity of people like jocks, band geeks (I was in the band, hate being called that), different races, and girls. From girls, I only had one date so far, and one might be coming up, but I'm nervous on how to proceed.

I'm popular. People like to call me names and make fun of me all the time. I get tons of attention when I screw up socially. When I tell people my diagnosis the other kids tell other people. I love being popular! :D
