well first off you have to clearly state questions because I have trouble if you're implying a question

1) have you actually looked up the definition of omnipotence? yeah I might suggest you do that because you are missing an important piece of the definition.
2) A child raised without any religion introduced would in fact come to some conclusion about how the world was created and things are run. Name one civilization that did not have a belief system.
3) About being an athiest...that's your issue if you want to reject the presence of God. And yes, if you do not believe that Jesus came and died for your sins, you ARE going to hell. Not just because you are a self-styled "atheist".
4) Forcing Christianity is not one of the Bible's teachings. It tells us to spread the good news, and if rejected to let them be. If people claim they are following the bible when they are trying to cram it down your throat, they are missinformed.
5) Proof, since obviously you don't get the idea there is proof and don't care to do a little research, I will list some examples of proof.
Finding of noah's ark
Proof of the appearance of the star in bethlehem
Proof of the census during Herod's reign as recorded in the bible
The listing of numerous biblical figures in historical records
Statements made in the bible before ever proved through science
The Earth is round, not flat as once believed (Isaiah 40:22)
Atmospheric circulation (Ecclesiastes 1:6)
Field of Gravity (Job 26:7)
Biological importance of blood to life (Leviticus 17:11)
The two books of the Chronicles are not only the genealogy of people, but also of secular
ancient history which can be proven.
The throne of England contains records that show it is the throne of King David
Records can also be found in France connecting many of those kings to the genealogical records
Joshua’s long day, where God stopped the sun for approximately 24 hours, is proof of the Bible
(Josh. 10:12-13). Many ancient cultures record in their histories a time when the world was dark
for a day, stayed light for a day, when the sun set for a day or rose in the east and stayed
there for about a day.
The Lord not only prophesied King Cyrus’ future existence, but also told in great detail what the
King would accomplish on the Lord’s behalf during his lifetime. King Cyrus was not a fictional
character. His tomb is in the Middle East to this day. Some of the accounts are found in:
Isaiah 44:26, 28; 45:1-7, 11, 13-14; 2 Chronicles 36:22-23; Ezra 1:1-3 and Daniel 10:1.
Here is even more facts : http://agards-bible-timeline.com/q9_his ... bible.html

As you can see THERE IS PROOF!

Oh and what is with the insulting of all religion. Since cramming religion down other people's throats is one of your points, shouldn't you NOT be trying to cram your "athiesm" down my throat?

Oh and by the way, I am not stupid, ignorant, unintelligent, or and of those similar terms. Also, you don't have to attack my religion or me personally just because you are in denial.

At any one point in human history, there's a length of knowledge that we have, then a gap, and then another length of knowledge. In the gap humans traditionally say "That's God." But as our knowledge expands that gap gets narrower and narrower. And it happens all the time. Darwin and the age of the universe are the ones that some people don't seem to want to get over.

I dunno. If I went to the tomb of say, Napoleon, and saw that the coffin had been removed and the body was no longer there I wouldn't assume that Napoleon rose from the dead. I'd simply think that someone stole the body.

that's what everyone else first thought when Jesus rose from the dead, however He appeared to people all over and showed He was indeed alive if you want an example see: John 20

I'm an Athiest. I find religion ridiculous, to be honest. There is as much evidence supporting religion as there is to an ice cream factory being on jupiter.

What irony, you say people shouldn't cram their atheism down your throat, and then say they are in denial for not believing.
Seriously, stop trying to prove to people that God exists, they chose to not believe, leave them alone. And the other atheists,
stop trying to prove her religion wrong. Answer the damn question, and leave it at that. Don't go around bashing people for
what they believe (or don't believe) in.

To answer that question: No, I'm not Christian, I call myself an Atheist, but it doesn't work well since I go to a Catholic school.
I have no problem with religion, except when people "force it down my throat". Leave me and what I believe alone, and I will do
the same to you.

Depends on your definition of devout.

But otherwise, I'm Catholic and love it. I could go on and on about how I love Christianity, and what needs to be/should be done to attract more people to the church, but that would take too long and probably get the thread moved to the religion forum.

I love Christianity. I don't really like the music, but I love God alot. Maybe if I found more heavy Christian Rock, I'd feel good. Anyways, I think religion and belief are slightly different. Religion is following a bunch of rules set out by humans who have a common belief. So, as an example religion would be the rules of the Catholic CHurch that are related to rules in the Bible. Some rules are exactly the same, and some rules are just similar to what the Bible says.

For a person , like me, who is totally motivated by my beliefs, my Bible is a reference tool. If I want to find out more about God, I use it. My relationship with God is the most the important thing that pertains to my belief. If I don't have a relationship with God, I can't grow as a Christian.

I guess you can say, I'm not a religious person, because I don't go to Church every Sunday to impress people, or to impress God. If I go to Church, it is to praise God, and have fellowship with others. To me a religious person is empty if they can't live out there beliefs in the real world.

Adam and Eve were not banished from the Garden of Eden for having sex obviously you have no basis for any of your fradulent claims if you can't even get BASIC facts straight. They were banished for eating fruit from the tree of knowledge, the one thing God clearly told them NOT to do.

well, Adam and Eve were expelled from Eden for losing their innocence ;)

Try Sanctus Real's The Face of Love. That is one of my favorite Christian albums.
