I have had the opportunity to be homeschooled or go to a private school. But I have never chose to actually do either because I know I will come out in the end better for it.

I've wanted to be home-schooled since I started Middle School, been asking my parents for years with absolutely no luck. I don't even bother worrying about it anymore 'cause I'm half-way done with my Senior year of High School, so there would be no point in switching. From what I heard from my mom at one point, she originally thought about having me home-schooled after Preschool, but decided against it since both her and my dad were working for the most part back then and didn't want to spent the money on a tutor. Also my mom wanted me to gain social skills from other kids my own ages and learn how to interact with them since I was (and still am) an only child, and didn't have any other kids to play with at home. In a sense, I understand why my parents made that choice, however that doesn't exactly mean I have to be happy with it..
