Which type of Aspie are you most like?
Type 1: Has a lot of trouble figuring out social rules. Mostly unaware of the social world. Has public meltdowns all the time.
Type 2: Wants to be normal but can't help acting different. Aware of the social world but sometimes socially awkward. Compares self to NTs all the time. Tries not to have public meltdowns but may have them once in a while.
Type 3: Very mild AS. No one can tell he/she has AS.
Type 4: Aware of the social world but is proud of being an Aspie. Mild to moderate differences. Makes fun of NTs. Does not have public meltdowns.

I'm a Type 2. Depending on what mood I'm in, I either wish I was a Type 3 or a Type 4. I used to be a Type 1 until I was 13.

I am Type 1 and Type 2. I am really immature for my age too. I do NOT know how to socialize and I feel that it's a lot easier for me to socialize with people that are teenagers then my own age. I really hope that I'm allowed in this forum since I feel that I can relate more to teenagers and people younger then me then to my own age.

I think I'm a little of each. I can't really pin point specifically, although I sympathize with all of them I don't really meltdown very often now that I'm a bit older. And when I do it's not in public.

Definitely type 2, sans the meltdowns.

I used to be a type 1, but I have started evolving into a type 4 who still doesn't get social norms.

If I were diagnosed with AS, I would be type 3. Right now I don't know if I have it or not though.

Generally I'm a Type 2/3, depending on lots of things, I guess. But when I was younger I probably would have been Type 1/2.

I don't really try to fit in, but every once and a while I wish I did. LIke when talking to someone I "like". I don't really have "meltdowns", but I do get angry every once and a while, and get suspended... Only for a week or two though... It was really bad before I was diagnosed, people thought I was insane for hitting and choking people for just joking or touching me. But now they don't come near me, unless they know how, or want to test me. Ha, I sound like a goddamned wild animal. Meh, I'm alright with that now.

2 and 4 for me. No meltdowns, somewhat aware of the social world, most people don't notice my odd behaviours, but people I'm closer to sure do!

You should check your family history, asperger's is genetic. Otherwise, go to the doctor, get diagnosed.

Type one though, I try to act like a NT. But I always fail. The one friend I ever had said I embarass her in public.
