Japanese Pop Culture (the all-encompassing phrase!)
Literature
Linguistics
Religion (to study, not belief in)
Fiction (mostly Fantasy)

As you can probably tell, I'm a VG nerd. I have an ecyclopedic knowledge of the Final Fantasy universe, and I'm a stickler for grammar and punctuation. I love to read, to write, and to dream. I'm currently in the process of writing the greatest story ever written. Quite the undertaking, I know, but I'm confident that I'll pull it off, eventually.

Definately Star Trek, with obediently in second place (it makes great games). Star trek was more ahead of its time than most people know. (It most likely inspired the design for the modern flip cell phone).

I've seen a few other animes by studio Ghibli, but not Howl's Moving Castle. How good is it? (and also, How is it good?)

I saw it, and on its own merit it's about as good as his other works, but if you're a stickler for the book the way I am, don't bother. He changed so many things! Michael even becomes, for some reason, Martin. And I have no idea why Howl turns into some sort of bird creature. *shrugs*

I've had some rather strange obsessions because of my autism through my life , such as :

-playing with pillow ends
- Flipping a coin up in the air continiously
- Spinning things on strings
- Spinning necklaces around on my finger.

I also have had normal obsessions such as game consoles (like the nintendo wii! woooo!), jigsaws and computers!

Obsessions eh. Mine, I guess, would be thinking. I like to think. I think about things like if my own sense of reason and logic is flawed, and wonder how I could test it. I wonder if the information about the world around me from my 5 senses is flawed. I wonder how the universe works. How infinity works. How time works. How physical objects exist. And the idea of free will, if it exists.
