I had a strange fascination with the number five in middle school. It was rare for me to see a fictional work with more than five characters per group, and if you drew a regular pentagon and wanted to add all the diagonal lines, you'd draw five more lines. Also, our base-10 system requires frequent usage of multiples of five, and every hand and foot typically has five appendages.

9, 17 and 33.

9 is physically small and frail but with a big mind, very thoughtful and looks out for others. he has short blonde hair, usually very solitary, he boasts big bright blue eyes.

33 comes from Peng! 33 .

for some reason there's a lot of songs about being 17. cusp of adulthood perhaps?
