My biggest obsession, and the one I keep falling back upon, is Spock. I do not know why, but something about him has held my interest since September 15, 2005. I am desperately in love with him and need him so much it almost hurts. When he died in the second Star Trek movie, I really thought my life was over.

My obsessions include:

The United states (Particularly New Jersey and Burbank, California, but the US in general, too).

Animaniacs/Wakko Warner (90's cartoon show - one of the reasons why I'm obsessed with Burbank, since this is where the show was based and produced)

Jess Harnell (Voice actor of Wakko Warner of the Animaniacs and also lead singer of a band called Loud (formerly Loud and Clear), who make fantastic music) He's the reason why Im obsessed with New Jersey, because he was born in Teaneck, NJ.

Tornadoes (meterology in general, really, but tornadoes fascinate me the most. One of the reasons why I love America so much, because they get many tornadoes and some of the most powerful too. Not to mention the hurricanes, also).

Earthquakes/The San Andreas Fault (more of a strong interest, than a full blown obsession)

The Golden Gate Bridge

And most recently, American accents/American english. This is more an interest, not so much an obsession, though, but, I only developed this interest a month or so ago, so I'm thinking it may eventually turn into an obsession.

As you can see, my obsessions are rather strange/specific and most seem to be interlacing in one way or another. I never noticed before I typed this, but really, you could sum my obsessions up loosely into one single obsession; the USA.

Anime is my primary obsession. My current favorites are One Piece, Naruto, Hellsing, Trinity Blood and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo.

I'm also a little obsessed with my iPod, and music in general.

My obsessions change just about every week so it wouldn't really be worth listing them.

Genetics. Love it, thrive on it, live, sleep and breathe it.
The genetically inherited traits of people. Physical and mental. It's how I found AS. :D

Obsessions eh. Mine, I guess, would be thinking. I like to think. I think about things like if my own sense of reason and logic is flawed, and wonder how I could test it. I wonder if the information about the world around me from my 5 senses is flawed. I wonder how the universe works. How infinity works. How time works. How physical objects exist. And the idea of free will, if it exists.

I know I have a theory.

What if when you see the colour green, it's really only blue 'cause that's the way your eyes perceive it?
What if someone else recognises the same colour as green. So something that is green could actually be what another would call blue. But because the person has only ever known the colour as green. So what another would think was blue if they saw it through the person's eyes, is actually green to that person because it's all they've ever known green to be.

I dunno, it's really complicated and VERY hard to explain.

I recently got a new obssession-the monitor on the computer at work. It drives me nuts to see fingerprints on it, but I'm being good and only wiping it down once a week.

At one stage it hadn't been cleaned in a year.

ARGH!! !! !! !! !!

I know the names of so many cars that my brain is a sort of 'car library', in the way that if I see one, I will almost immediatley know its name.

Before 2003 I didn't even know the car my mum drove, which was, I have found out, a Ford Fiesta.
My first word was also 'car'. I should probably stop now before I drag on too much about them ;-)
