Anyone obsessed with parrots?? Anyone on here have parrots? I have 11 parrots, and have been obsessed with parrots for 5 years. I know so much about parrots, that someone can show me a picture of a species of parrot, and I know exactly what it is.
My amazon is my comfort animal, when I am sad, or upset, I go and cuddle her.

Have you seen the film "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill"? It's about Mark Bittner and his involvement with the feral parrots of San Francisco.

I was the engineer for the renovation of the house he rented on Telegraph Hill. When I met him and saw what he was doing, I went back to my client and asked if he was going to able move back in when the construction was over. They were fans of what he was doing, and assured me he would move back in, and he did.

yes, I have seen that film, and I read to book too, it is awesome! Those parrots that are in Wild Parrot of Telegraph Hill are Cherry Headed Conures, Blue Crowned Conures, and Mitred Conures, and a few amazon, different species

Right now, I have a Golfen Cockatoo. I love birds of all kinds, and they seem to like me. Unfortunately, I am unable to put up with the noise.

aWW, how cute! What a cute brown headed parrot!:) I am sorry you are unable to put up with the noise, does he have plenty of toys, etc?

She does :-) I can go into a bird store and pretty soon, birds will start flying to me. I was recently in Ft Lauderdale, and I had an African Grey attempt to grab the back of my shirt to climb upon me. A few minute later, a conure flew over to me. The owners were getting leery, so I bought the toy I wanted for my bird and left.

I am glad that she has plenty of toys! What about her cage, how large is it? LOL, I am the same way, birds tend to fly to me and start chattering/preening, etc on me, LOL!

I love parrots! I have two, a congo African grey and a black-capped conure, and I hope to have many more someday. They are such beautiful, intelligent creatures. My conure is my comfort animal, he is very cuddly and always there when I am lonely or upset.
