I love Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and I can't wait to see Alice in Wonderland! Tim Burton and Johnny Depp are awesome!

Equilibrium is very good, if you loved The Matrix you'll love this (probably  ).

I also became totally enraptured with Avatar not so long ago but I suppose that speaks for itself :L.

I'd also recommend a film called "Angel Eyes", I haven't seen it around that much but it's well worth a look if you ever come across it.

The Matrix, 21, Back To The Future, Adam, The Box, Alice in Wonderland (the new one), all the Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean films, and loads more that I can't remember off the top of my head.

I usually like most comedy and action films, and dislike most romantic films (with the notable exception of Adam and Mozart and the Whale). I also like a few thrillers, as long as they're not too scary.

Update: I saw Alice in Wonderland in theatres, then I bought it when it came out on DVD. I. Freaking. Love. This. Movie. It's the only movie I can sit through completely without taking a break or skipping parts. :D SyFy's Alice is pretty good too, although I'm not sure if it counts as a really long movie or a really short TV show...

It's hard to list favorite movies, because its hard for me to remember, and I get a feeling that I will be judged by the movies I like.

but um the ones i have seen recently and that have made it onto my favorites are

meet the fockers/meet the parents
kick ass
michael jacksons this is it- im a huge fan of mj- and that does count as a movie
fox and the hound

my movie list sucks. sorry.

The Matrix, anything with Adam Sandler, Zorro, Oh Brother Where Art Thou?, Drunken Fists, Bulletproof Monk, Forest Gump, The Titanic, Shrek and Toy Story. I'll watch anything other than Timecop.
