Since I've got an IEP set up, I take more classes than usual because I have to take this one class called PASS (forgot what it stood for), but they placed me in it to learn more social skills. And so, because of lack of room in my school schedule during the day, I've taken a correspondance class and some computer classes on the program called "Nova Net" (I took World History and Algebra I on it for a couple years, and then I'm going to do US History on it next year). Other than that, I'll take Wind Ensemble (the most advanced band), CP British Lit., a correspondance careers course, another PASS class (with the Nova Net class the same period; I split them in half), and Algebra 2A/2B. I would have taken some AP stuff but I also have crosscountry, track, National Honor Society, and with band I'd have a nervous breakdown by the end of the year, since that'd just be too much stuff. I do make room for some CP stuff, however, and I usually get good grades. Having both involvement in school and having good grades along with some CP courses show that you can do other things besides school, which looks good to colleges (that's not the only reason I do band and track/crosscountry during the year; I just like both running and band because they're fun to me). Next year is definitely going to be a busy one, since it's also my senior year in high school.
