Have u ever reinvented yourself? I just started to care about fashion, listen to pop music, and hang out with friends. I might cry in public once in a while, but I've gotten much better about hiding my AS.

I reinvented myself when I started year 8. I cut off my hair, bought awesome clothes, and ditched my boyfriend who was making me feel unconfident all the time. I would suggest it, but only if you can go through with it and you are really passionate about it :D

Nope. Don't ever plan to either. I'd much rather just be who I actually am than a version of me I created to please random strangers I quite frankly couldn't care less about anyway.

Yeah in middle school I was slightly punk mostly a nerd, I talked a lot and got in a lot of fights.

Going into high school I decided to take a different approach since nobody knew me and I tried to keep my mouth shut unless I was specifically asked to speak. I also met a guy who got me into metal and I completely ditched punk for the new more aggressive sound.

I never really had a problem crying in public during my school years. I learned at an early age to convert all my sad feelings into anger because I knew it was the more acceptable emotion for a guy.

I Reinvented myself in grade 7 , but since that didn't work out I went back to my old self. I've always cared about fashion so I still care about fashion, but I don't listen to pop music.

I think that I only found my "real self" in year 8, so I didn't really "reinvent myself" as such, but started showing my true self. In primary school all I wanted to do was hide who I was. 8O

I went from not knowing who Lady Gaga was to being obsessed with pop music. I love listening to Lady Gaga, Jordin Sparks, Jessica Jarrell (You might not have heard of her; she sings "Almost Love."), Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, and Beyonce. I also love the song Fireflies by Owl City. I'm not a big fan of Justin Bieber.

I used to be obssessed with pop music. Specially in grade 7, but at the end of grade 7 I started listening to other music. Now I only listen to pop music if people around me are. I still try to keep up with it. I don't get why people like Justin Bieber.

I do it quite often, but not really extremely.

I might be really Decora for a day/week (Decora is Japanese brightly coloured fashion) and then be Gothic for a day or so, and then punk, then not bother, then be Chav (Gangster?) and then be "Fashionable"..
I just do whatever I feel like. I don't really have one particular style :)

I reinvented myself from being an anime geek (otaku) to being a film geek. I'm an especially big fangirl for Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. :)

no not really. Although I was weird looking and did not give a care in the world how I lookedin grades 5th-7th grade because I hated going to school and I just hated everything. I was fat, I had bad fashion sense (long bermuda shorts and t-shirt) . But I went through a growth spurt in like 8th grade and lost all my fattiness, and then I started to wear a little makeup (mascara only and foundation under my geneticly dark eye circles), and I wear better clothes. Physically I look like the average teenager, but i have bad social problems, I stim in public alot...

I reinvented myself again. I only have trouble with emotional regulation once or twice a month.

I have done so, at least partially. Not so much in my identity, more in the way people view me. It feels awesome.

I tried to be more like everybody else a few years ago, but it didn't work.
