I took the Reading the Mind in the Eyes quiz. I got 23 out of 36 right. How many did you get right?

i got 25. i was having problems with it at first untill i started to match the eyes in the pictures to movies and tv shows (which is the only time i will look at someones face when they're talking). then when i remembered a scene that the eyes matched i would try to imagine what the caracter was feeling in conjunction to what was going on in the scene.

I kept getting really confused and thinking the eyes didn't match any of the answers or more than one and it was stressful :P but ended up getting a "normal" score so it's all good.

Most of my NT friends score about 20, but most of you score about 25. I wonder if a lot of Aspies change from being worse than most people at reading faces to being better at it than most people :D .

I got a 10. I can trouble reading the eyes, but not facial expressions. I don't actually look at the eyes when trying to figure out emotions.

I didn't realize that people primarily relied on the eyes to figure out facial expressions until I discovered this test.

I was unsure what some of the emotion choices meant.

I guessed on all of them.

I am "eye-blind" I guess.

I got 13. After I spent 20 minutes on the first two I realized I have no clue what any of them meant, so I just clicked "B" on all of them. I only figured out two; the rest were lucky guesses.

Not really a surprise--especially given the poor photo quality.
