I had a friend. She told me she started cutting. I believed her and tried to help her, mostly. Because of all that I was going through between her and everything else I ended up talking sex with her for an escape. Turns out she only started cutting after she said she did because she wanted the attention. She got trapped in depression because of it though. Now she's in my English class and I have to deal with seeing her and being near her. Any hints on how to put up with her?

Perhaps, you should just be there for her as a friend and not talk sex. Try to build her up and show her that their are "good guys" out there.

I only talked that as an escape. We're not talking anymore, at all. I couldn't be her friend if I wanted to.

Then, either drop the class, or just pretend like she doesn't exist. As far as I can tell, those would be your only two options.

And, why can't you talk to her? Did you guys sort of date? Is there some vital piece of info that you are leaving out? If you don't want to answer that question, that's fine.

I forgot to add the information. We didn't date, I was just a friend. In fact we didn't talk much in real life, mostly on MSN. And the piece of information is that her sister read her diary, showed her mother, her mothers sworn vendetta against me, her sister always hated me and she doesn't want to be my friend at all (Note: She's kind've gutless)

Hmm...Her mother must have read something very interesting about you in the diary. With that said, I guess you can choose to be invisible to her or just drop the class and retake it a later time. I don't think you have much other choice.

Funny thing is if I wanted sex I would've pounced when she said yes. Must've read something interesting, I insinuate sex, apparently I caused her to self-harm (even though I fought to stop her) and I can't drop the class, it's English. I'll just have to try and ignore her. But if they try and pair people together to work with each other I will not work with her. That much is non-negotiable.

For her. Your description of her matches perfectly with the disorder ... unless that's how all 15 year old girls are like these days.
