Which type of Aspie are you most like?
Type 1: Has a lot of trouble figuring out social rules. Mostly unaware of the social world. Has public meltdowns all the time.
Type 2: Wants to be normal but can't help acting different. Aware of the social world but sometimes socially awkward. Compares self to NTs all the time. Tries not to have public meltdowns but may have them once in a while.
Type 3: Very mild AS. No one can tell he/she has AS.
Type 4: Aware of the social world but is proud of being an Aspie. Mild to moderate differences. Makes fun of NTs. Does not have public meltdowns.

I'm a Type 2. Depending on what mood I'm in, I either wish I was a Type 3 or a Type 4. I used to be a Type 1 until I was 13.

Can I be a combo of some of the types?

Some symptoms of AS I have severely, some I have moderately, some I have mildly and some I don't have at all.

I'm a type 2 in some instances and type 3 in others.

Type 2, but without the meltdowns.

I tend to range somewhere between a 2 and a 3, depending on the day.

I think I'm a cross between Type 2 and Type 4. However, I do not want to be normal and, even though I know most of the social rules, I can't help but be socially awkward all the time.

Type 3/4.

No problem with daily life if I am not sick, no particular 'aspie' pride, no public meltdowns.

You know, people really get scared of me because most think I seem to read their minds while I am just reading non-verbals and general impression, combining that with experience and knowledge of previous times - a 9 out of 10 accuracy is the result.

I was very much Type 1 when I was a kid, in due time it gets relatively better.

I'm type 5. The type that wants to be a slightly unusual NT.

Type 3/4, hard to say really, but that would fit me best.

I'd say type 3 because just about everyone says it must be very mild.

Cross between type 1 and type 4, without noticable public meltdowns.

I used to be Type 2. Now I'm a cross between Type 3 and Type 4.

This one most accurately describes me.

Just figured out I have some form of AS a couple of weeks ago, I would say Type 2, but I haven't had an outburst in a long time, I also don't really have problems looking people in the eye or with sensory overload.
