This is not really a stalking thing.

When you want to get away from it all, Where are you likely to be found? With me, Due to my obcession of trains, I am found somewhere on Sector 3, Which encompasses the following:

Anywhere that is Red, Or Yellow, I can generally be found.

Its more of a "it's quiet out here" thing more than anything else, Unless you're around Town Hall

Hello Sydneysider! I have to catch a train 5 days a week for my course so you'll probably find me on the blue, burnt orange and red lines. Town Hall, Central are busy and Redfern is a pain if you want a seat in peak hour.

Hi fellow sydney sider,

I head in the other direction generally, Unless I am meeting people at Central... or Sydney Terminal, Whichever they call it now.

I usually refer it as Central, Sydney Terminal sounds like another station to me haha

Technically, and even on the STN's (Special Train Notices... What RailCorp uses to run the trains to Olympic Park and such places) refer to it as Sydney Terminal. Yet Taylor states Central, and LICS Central (i)...

Inconsistency much.

Anyway, Whats your favourite type of train to catch (and please, Dont say Tangara)

I think they are called Waratahs, the newest ones. They're very clean and often have air con, unlike the Tangaras which are like ovens in the summer and stink! Unfortunately most of the trains I catch are Tangara trains :(

Yes, You have the Waratahs (Waratarts by the drivers). I like the few 6 car non-air-conned trains that run around out your way.

I travel the blue line, four to five times a week - rarely anything else. From deep in the south, all the way into the city. But I only travel by train when I am commuting to work. The trains are too far away from home for recreational travel, and I get plenty of alone time by hiding (like now) in my study at home.

PS: Sydney Terminal means the Country Rail platforms. Central means the suburban platforms. That's because the country train lines all terminate at Sydney Terminal - the actual train lines end at the platform. But the suburban train lines all pass through Central to other stations in both directions - so not a terminal.

Not necessarially true. South Coast line services do go all the way to Bondi Junction in the peaks, and on weekends. Just an FYI.

Still, Its all referred to as Central now. The only signs that say anything other than Central are the ones at Olympic park, Which read Sydney Central

I was referring to the platforms and train lines, not to country train services that may be routed onto suburban lines and platforms.

The lines at the country platforms (1-15) all terminate at Sydney terminal. The lines at the suburban platforms (16-25) all pass through. Some country trains do run over the suburban network and travel to Bondi Junction, but that merely illustrates the difference between a train line/platform and a train service.

I lock myself in my room, or you'll find me walking out to the football field with a rugby ball in one hand and an unwilling victim in the other.
