Part-time jobs for someone who hates dealing with people
I'm allowed $20 a week and it's never enough... the problem is, my parents won't increase my pay unless I do more jobs around the house (NOT possible!) and most jobs for a high school kid are things like McDonalds and supermarkets... which means standing behind a counter and talking to people, which is impossible for me because I'm really shy around strangers and hate dealing with people who aren't my friends and family. Anyone here got suggestions for a job for me? I'm 16 and at school full-time, and can't afford to miss any days, but I REALLY need more money.

I've been looking for that very same thing, my siblings tell me it's impossible, meanwhile, here's an article that may give you a few ideas:http://blog.couponsherpa.com/quick-cash-24-ways-to-make-money-while-unemployed/

Thanks for that, it did make me think of something: freelance HTML design. I like making websites, but don't know anyone who wants one yet... I'm pretty musically inclined too so I could see if anyone needed a guitarist for their band.

Delivering nespapwers, walking with dogs, gardening, removing snow in winter, general houseworks like painting or such stuff, car washing, I also helped in companies when they had yearly stocktaking, as example I got all the list and had to get all that numbers and products in excel files. Donating bloodplasma also was payed in my country and helped me to afford my SI as a teenager. The shops that were connected with my SI also searched helpers when there were gaming fairs in my area, so they needed to store their stuff into trucks, build up at the fair hall their small shop, removing it after the fair... If you are a bit shy, like I am, ask others that are more connected, if they heard about such offered works. So the stocktaking works were offered from my sister, that worked in that company. They were very satisfied with me, because I am very fast and correct with numbers and such stuff, so they also called me for their other offices. The gardening, helping, dogwalking stuff I got because of helping my grandaunt. So when friends of her chitchatted with her and talked about their problems (As example family comes for a visit, and so they need to remove the complete snow in fornt of their house so their relatives have spaces for their cars or they cant go on walks with their dogs propperly, because of an injury. Or they ask you to take some stuff with you for them, when you get to the next city...) my grandaunt told them, that I helped her with that, and so I got the first jobs, then they talk with other friends of them, and mention you if they have problems and so on. Old people often need help, but they are sometimes very suspicious against foreigners, so if a friend of them recommends you, it is easier for them to trust you. Specially the dogsitting was nice, I mean getting payed for doing a walk: Best thing ever. ^^
