I'm not sure if this is the proper place to be, but whatever.

My teeth get loose sometimes, and most of the times it's my big kid teeth that are loose. Since I didn't loose all of my baby teeth (I was hit in the face with a basketball in Pre-K and I was pushed into a metal ladder in Kindergarten), and I assume that delayed the rate that I loose my teeth. Anyways, when they're loose enough, I pick at them until they fall out, and the funny part is that:

It doesn't hurt. Doing that just feels like a tap on the shoulder to me.

So, does anyone else here do that? Or pull at their hair? Or pick the skin off of various places?

I've been compulsively picking at my skin since the age of 14. There are scars all over and I've gotten an infection once, but I keep doing it. I don't know why I do it, but it really comforts me.

This...was not what I expected.

I have very rough skin, so I scratch at it all the time. It doesn't hurt, just feels like scratching an itch that is always there.

I peel the top layer of skin off my arms when I'm feeling anxious and sometimes I chew small chunks of flesh and skin off of my lips and the insides of my mouth. I know it's not good for me but I'm usually not aware I'm doing it until afterwards.

Yup.

But, to answer the question, no.

Ever since I was in 1st grade I would peel the skin off of my lips.

...Probably so...

No, now that you mention it, I see it to. Sound somewhat like the Rhythm Method (don't ask). Anyone know how to change the title? And nice enough to give me a new title that doesn't sound like a type of contraception?

XD That's funny. I actually thought it was a pulling out of school thread. But I can see how you might think that as well...

I do this too. Doesn't hurt either. I feel something, but I don't really think of it as pain. If it is pain, it's goooooood pain.

I love it when salt gets into it. I often peel the skin off just before I eat salt and vinegar crisps. That's the best.
