NT Teenagers stupid?
I don't know... I really don't like girls my age (and some boys even). It's like they are just really, deliberately stupid. I'm walking down the street, and there are these group of kids that are just loud... screaming, pushing and insulting each other. Yet they call each other 'friends'. Then there is the whole thing where a girl says one thing and does another. There's that dumb rap music that makes no sense... it's just about shooting other people up. People in my town are always going "f*ck the cops" and "bros before hoes".
Does anyone else find that the older they get, the more stupider the people around them seem? I just can't seem to wrap my head around it. I see girls with a inch of makeup caked on their face, boys whose underwear is constantly showing and people who fake being depressed because they think it's "cool". Is this how the world expects us teenagers to behave? To be loud? To insult our friends? To wave cellphones around and tell everyone we don't give a f*ck? And what about the cops? They risk their lives every day to make sure that we are safe. And those so called "hoes" are just as important as your "bros".
It's just so frustrating. I don't know how I'll ever relate to neurotypicals if this is how they act. It doesn't make any sense at all. People always wonder why I never hang out with people my age and would rather hang out with the 22 year olds...

People say "f**k the police" due to the history of police sh*****g on ethnic minorities, among other things. When a rent-a-pig (who is off-duty city or suburban police) threatens to throw your bike off a train station's bridge (that happened to me) among collective abuses of ethnic groups by police there will be a rising sentiment. And I say that with knowing people in law enforcement.
"Bros before hoes" simply means that you should not fight your friends over females, or steal your friends' females. Ex-girlfriends or whatever is more controversial over whether to "hook up" or not. Due to the stupidity and drama/emotions that get invested into those situations that term and concept came up in some cultures.
Re. the older people get the more stupid they seem, uh no I remember then I was like 5-6 or whatnot and wondering why no one would do what I told them to do as I wanted to organize them into lines or teams or something. People nowadays (~20 years old) are more competent
Rap culture does not bother me, it's less annoying than the damned R&B or old sh***y house music, or that damned Gospel (pun intended xD). Note I dont exactly pay attention to mainstream rap and it'll probably end up ending up like Disco haha....
You're probably dealing with drunk or high or some form of intoxicated people.

I go to an online school (with a real-world school building), so my school's mix is a bit different. But yeah, there's some SERIOUSLY dumb kids there. Best line ever, said to my mom (a teacher there): "I don't wanna study! I wanna go work!" "And do what?" "Anything!" "...Even hauling boxes." "Anything!"
Yeesh. I don't mind the rap culture as much, since I know they'll grow out of it\be incredibly stupid elderly people, but throwing away your future is just idiotic.

As an anarchist, I feel obliged to say that cops are indeed pigs. Well, at least riot police are. I know from experience.
Anyway, I diverge - I think NT teenagers aren't naturally stupid, it's just easier for them to absorb into human society, which doesn't exactly preach knowledge and enlightenment.
Well in my teenage years i did a LOT of stupid things, i did not behave like the monkey you describe but still. I can say im still stupid today just not as much as teenage years and this amount of stupid i can very well accept. Although i thought that a lot of other teenagers where just stupid and nasty people i do not want to be around they pobably thought worse of me. I remember one year of school where i was probably seen as the stupidest of the class in genearl opinion. Although very untrue because i was among the smartest of class they still thought otherwize.
In my life there has been a re occuring experience where people with a lower iq then me judge me to be less intelligent then they are.
Its just that easy obvious answers are preffered to keeping thigns open ended and unexplainable because most things are really hard to explain.
And this insight that a question goes far deeper then a one line answer makes me seem like an idiot.

I'm a woman of color and I agree with you- rap music is quite offensive and I cannot tolerate this "gangster culture". NT teens are obsessed with "trendy." let me assure you the adult world is more tolerant of quirkiness and individual thinking.

There seems to be "that group" of people at every school (I'm assuming that you're still in school, being 17 and all, right?), that go around as a raving pack of fighting, annoying, rap partakers. They can't be the majority, can they?

I've never liked having friends my own age. Anytime I ever had the chance to there was no one I wanted to be around very long. I do agree that the older I get, the stupider the people around me get. When I was in high school I was always the youngest person in my grade; I was 17 when I graduated and most of the people I considered "friends" were 19 about to turn 20. Seriously.
And they were morons. Still are. I have a very memorable experience: When I went to a movie with them after my first semester of college, these "friends" of mine who where 2-3 years older than me were running through the theather (and the Walmart we went to to get food to sneak in with us) like kids and screaming at the top of their lungs during the movie. (And I couldn't just leave cause I was miles away from home and I had been picked up by a friend to get there). I thought we were all going to be arrested because we were in a G rated movie filled with kids (10 and under) and they kept screaming swear words and making loud sex themed jokes.
And it gets worse. I'm 18 now and I'm a sophomore in college (gee...thanks so much honors program). Most of my classmates now are like 25 or older. You would think it would be better because they are older. I certainly hoped so. But no. They are worse.
While they are waving around cellphones, they also wave around bottles of beer and alcohol. To go along with the sagging pants you've got grown women who think it's acceptable to wear a bathing suit top to lecture and the shortest skirt possible. That awful music is blasting so loud out of every car that goes by with the windows down that I actually have to cover my ears sometimes. And those cars are going by at 65 mph when they should only be going 15 mph. Instead of play-fighting you get real bloody drunken fist-fights that campus police have to come break up. And yeah, they hate on the campus cops a lot even though most of them are actually fairly nice. Instead of respect and responsibility, it's alright for people to yell at and swear at professors when they fail an exam or get caught plagiarizing a paper. It makes me kinda sick and definately sad.
Somehow this is how the world expects teenagers and young adults to act. The bad news is that adults seem to believe that ALL teenagers and young adults must be that way.
Whoever it was that said things get better the older you get lied. Somehow I don't think it gets better. At least not where I live. I see people in my hometown who are in their 30's and 40's who still act like they are in high school (partying, new boyfriend/girlfriend every week, drinking/doing drugs, getting in trouble with the law). I bet they'll be like that 'till the day they die (or do something so stupid they can't come back from it). They'll never grow up.
I'm actually done with the "college experience" (such as it is) for awhile. I recently decided to complete as many of my education requirements as I can online before going back there. I don't exactly go to a "party-school" but it still sucks. I don't think I'll ever be able to relate to NT's either. The more I try to understand them, the more difficult and pointless even trying seems to become.

I think you might also mean that the way we're living is getting worse, even without the younger generation having the fault of it. It's our food intake, lack of manners and understanding (even if we don't go to church), lace of morals, and the way parents raise their children carelessly in this day and age. But that's just the way it goes. as the population gets bigger and more polluted, the less there is room for sanity. sorry to tell a life story but, it's true.
as far as me, there are the far and few that are friendly, so it's good to find them and not doubt the world so much. that's all I can give you before i blabber to death.

No I agree. Things do seem to be getting worse and I wonder what this world is going to be like when I'm 30 or 60 or 90. I do try to see the best in people and in situations but it's becoming more and more difficult to do that. I'm a Sociology major so I do a lot of studying society (with all of its problems and functions/dysfunctions) but it seems like the more I learn that I didn't know before the more bitter it makes me because most of it is negative.

I think the problem with the people that you describe is not that they are NT's, but that they are obnoxious jerks. Dealing with these people is a problem of aspies and responsible NT's alike.
