What do you think about socity today? I think we`ve messed up so bad, we are going
to "sink", if you know what I mean! Just don`t take my word for it.

I think that it is merely the society that surrounds us which is screwed up. I think that if we choose to remain eloquent and aware of the world around us, and not buy into all this s**t like celebrities obsessing over being skinny, then we should be okay!

Which seems to pretty much sum it up. Many individual people are absolutely terrific. It's just as a general species that we've really messed up. :roll:

Give me some past society that was better. This whole thing about us being a screwed up society leaves the question: what society has really gotten things better? If we compare society to an ideal it will always fail, the real world cannot compare to the ideal world. I say that we haven't messed it up really bad and compared to past societies or even past versions of our own society we are doing relatively well.
