I want to go to church even though I'm Muslim?

Does anyone else here go to church or religious organizations for the socialization opportunities?
BTW this is strictly for teens, so I'm not really trying to talk about religion anyways.


And would it be weird if I just started going now?

I moved schools in the middle of last year.

It was extremely awkward and I had to take heavy medication for my depression, even though I learned a lot more of the social stuff and what people mean and stuff.

I also failed all my classes last year, skipping and stuff.

So would people make fun of me ,because they kinda know me as the loner guy?


It's kinda like, i've already made a fool of myself, so if they see me other places which I guess I could be a chance to get to know me better, would they make fun of me or think I was a weird stalker?

church is primarily a social affair. i certainly would hope you'd be welcome.

It's not just that I'm Muslim.
It's also what people from school will think of that awkward guy nobody knew coming alone to church

I belong to a church even though I am agnostic. I was born and raised Anglican (or Episcopalian in the United States). They readily accept agnostics and even have agnostic members of the clergy. The religion itself says the emphasis on the community and it's encouraged for many to take the teachings/lessons/stories as metaphor.

I'm not really religious, but there probably isn't much socializing in churches.

There is great socialization in churches. Why would you think there was not?

Most christians are absolutely overjoyed any time anyone takes an interest in joining their religion.

It would be extremely unusual for you to walk into a church and be turned away.
