I'm going to post a link in this post to a website called TVtropes

What this site does is take anything with a plot and break it down into storytelling devices called tropes. it also has discussions forums and a lot of other things. Personally as an aspie, I find their Tropes facinating and cool. I think all aspies should have a look at this site, because tropes are such an aspie freindly concept. Plus it's totally awesome

Once you enter TVtropes you don't come back out, it's an oblivion of endless hyperlinks.

I enjoy TVTropes every now and then. My only problem with it is that there are so many links and so many similar tropes that I often feel a bit overwhelmed by all the content on that site.

I love, love, love TV Tropes! Whenever I get into a new show or movie, the first thing I do is go onto TV Tropes and read about the tropes that the show/movie employs. It's so addictive and fun!

Some of the content is interesting, but a lot of the users are irritatingly sanctimonious.

I hate TV Tropes, a website where literally everything I could think of or love becomes a postmodern joke, in a ridicule of everything, a target of an existential quasi-nothingness, where reality is determined by the tropers, and it's a really long story I won't go on about, but I'd love to burn the servers of the site and dance on the ashes. I've had some bad times since first getting into that site's world.

Okay, the burning servers was too much, I'm just mad because every time I read a page there, I read it okay, until after and it all dawns on me in a Fridge Horror moment, and realize how much this changes metaphysics, why am I saying this, come to think of it, why do I even care about TV Tropes? I'll just stay away like a fly at a perfume shop. No offense toward you as a TV Tropes user, by the way..

You are in a maze of twisty hyperlinks, all alike.

No offense taken. It is that I do treat the site as a special interest of mine, and have actually submitted quite a bit in the way of stuff for there.

Tv Tropes is evil, it ties me up and destroys my time. I say there is something very autistic about it, maybe a bit ADHD too.

I practically speak Tropese. Somehow there are three people in my gymnasium that also know the site which just rocks. It's such a handy tool to for talking about fiction (and learning about it) when you can explain pretty much the entirety of some show you like to a friend with a few Trope Names.
Also, Useful Notes have actually taught me useful stuff that I've needed later.
