When I was younger I hated a lot of loud noises, specifically fire alarms. I would always try making my teacher let me go outside before a fire drill. Now, I'm not afraid of the fire alarm, but I still think it is a nuisance. Plus since I'm an Aspie, my ears are better than a NT. How do you feel about loud noises.

Loud noises are painful and frightening to me. I get less scared now than I did when I was younger, but it still hurts a lot.

I can't stand people coughing or babies crying, both make me freak out if they're at an unacceptably uncomfortable level. Living very close to a major airport, things like low flying airplanes and loud motorcycles driving by don't really bother me, it's more the little things nearby. Likewise, my younger sister is terrified of loud sounds so as a kid, I'd always tease her by squeezing a balloon, knowing that I'd never actually pop it because I was just as scared :) I'm nice to her now though, so dues paid!

Did not know to put hate or afriad beacuse I feel both. About 99% percent of melltdowns at home are noise related. A large amount at school is noise and touch related even more so in winter when everyone is in winter jackets. I hate bumping into people even more wearing a winter jacket.

I find loud noises extremely unpleasant, and at sufficient volume, they will startle me. This causes problems when people play loud music around me and when fire drills occur. I hate fire drills...

I really am not fond of loud noises. There are certain loud noises that I can tolerate for a short while like a fire drill or a young child or infant screaming or crying. but the sounds that i hate the most are very high pitched. those really put me in a bad mood >:(

Loud noises actually dont bother me. When I was in school I attended a class which had a school bell situated right above the door, so we got a full blast of noise whenver it would go off, all the other students used to cover their ears but it never really bothered me at all. Probably due to the fact that I listen to loud, obnoxious music constantly

I'm bothered more by quieter noises, like chewing, rubbing, coughing, sniffling, whistling, and you get the idea. I do hate when people play music too loudly or have the TV turned all the way up.

I hate those sounds, too. Expecially whispers and the movent of pages (for example when I'm doing a classwork at school and we must use the dictionary). But I hate loud noises just in the same way.

 Not at all. I have very mild Aspie's, and for some reason it doesn't affect me.

the  image is your avatar and you also used it in your message. I find that quite interesting. Is it a habit of yours to use the  image in your post? I would say you are quite lucky not to be affected by loud noises. I often spend all weekend in my room with music playing in order to avoid the sounds I dislike.
